Not 5 star ONLY because the plastic guards are very cheap

Everything about this unit except the clipper guards is 5 star amazing IMHO. Clipper guards for other units work, so I use them instead and tossed the BabyBliss guards. BabyBliss, please make these better to match your clipper quality.

Great product

I got this for work as my job requires me to be shaved daily and this shaver gives me a little extra time in the morning to enjoy my coffee. Definitely worth the money in my opinion

Very close shave

The Babyliss foil shaver is definitely one of the best shavers I have used; easy to clean and gives one hell of a close shave.

Fantastic shaver, but not for me!

I have to preface my review with a little background. I used electric shavers for years, and used a variety of manufacturers from Braun, Panasonic, and Wahl. I eventually switched to cartridge razors because I never felt I was getting a decent shave from the electric shavers. I switched to DE shaving about six or seven years ago, and found the best shave ever for me. Yes, there is a learning curve, but my face and head could not be smoother. However, there are days I really just want to knock the stubble off and get on with what needs doing, so I started looking into electric razors. Hey, a good shaver can save time. I settled on the BaByliss, which is incredibly well constructed. In fact, the only complaint I have is that the power switch is on the side, so it takes a bit more work to toggle it, but even that is being pretty picky. Bottom line is, I returned the shaver. Despite the excellent reviews, great quality, and design, this shaver is just not for me. In fact, I do not believe there is a shaver that will really save me any time. I had to shave some spots on my face a few times to finally get the stubble to disappear. Maybe it's just me or maybe dry shaving isn't the right way for my face, but I cannot fault the shaver. However, the shave was comfortable, so no complaints there. Take this review for whatever it's worth, I just wanted to share my experience. Great shaver, just not for my face.

Before purchasing this clipper set, due to the high price, I decided to do as much research as possible before making the commitment to buy them. I kept hearing and seeing only good things about these clippers through online Youtube videos and reviews, yet I kept seeing amazon reviews left saying they came used and also damaged/dirty. I want to make clear that these clippers came completely sealed in the original box and did not show any signs of previous use or any signs of them being dirty, they were very clean and looked better in person than the picture imo. They came charged out of the box and they do come with a charger and accessories such as the guards, oil, and a cleaning brush as well as some extra customizable pieces you can swap out if you choose, but i'll be giving them a full charge before using them for the first time. Despite not using them yet, everything i've seen so far from the order has led me to feel this is a 9/10 experience and if they prove to be good clippers (which im sure they will) than it would most certainly be a 10. I hope some of the information in this review was found helpful! :)
