Beautiful but busted door

It’s what I was looking for however the pegs to attach the door to the armoire are broke off (thus can’t attach). Looks like they don’t replace parts so I might run to the hardware store to see if I can find a substitute. Sounds like this is a common problem

Beautiful, but came Defective

I love the piece, however, I received a defective item. Reading the other reviews it seems like the doors should be attached already coming from the manufacturer, and if they aren't, they didn't come with the correct parts to attach them. I couldn't attach the top latch either as the holes on the bracket didn't match the holes on the actual top. I did call the manufacturer for the replacement parts, but they said they only send you parts that weren't included, like the bolts, screws or washers. They explained it was a manufacturing defect and should get a replacement from the vendor. I definitely like the piece, it's very elegant looking and the space is great, and would love to get a replacement (waiting for amazon to process the return). Hoping the next one comes with everything needed to assemble it correctly.

Great style, hard to ship properly.

I love this jewelry armoire. The one thing that would make it more desirable is if the drawers were on tracks and not just wood on wood pull-outs. crystal knobs would also make it a little nicer in my opinion but that is easily fixed. This is the second one that we had to have shipped. The first was damaged in shipping. I also noticed that the wood did look slightly defective in one area. This second new one is in good shape despite being jostled around during shipping clearly. The box had some damage. I am taking into consideration that this was ordered in Christmas 2020 which means a huge influx in items being shipped in a short amount of time. Considering the circumstances I think the manufacturer has done everything they can to ensure the item arrives safely. This is shipped well but because of what it is it does run the risk of damage in shipping. I would say that it is packaged as well as it can be. There are several layers of foam, corner guards, wood bracing, and padded packing sheets. Other reviewers mentioned the color of the lining. I do not find it massively appealing but it's also much better than other color options I've seen for lining in a jewelry armoire. I don't think the lining is off-putting. When searching for a matching mirrored jewelry armoire to my mirrored vanity I looked for about a year before settling on this one. The price is amazing considering the price of just wood finished full-sized jewelry armoire sell for not to mention a mirrored one. I did consult with my mom prior to purchasing. She sold high-end furniture for years and recognized the brand. She stated that it is a well-known furniture manufacturer from china that has been selling its products in higher-end furniture stores in the US for decades. It isn't the highest quality brand but that it was also one that was trustworthy and has a track record of creating nicely made long-lasting pieces. She felt more than confident that it would be a very well made piece. She was correct.

Well packed

This armoire review is both good and bad. We had read other reviews that talked about damage in different ways and severity. We bought it 4/23 and it came 4/27. On the day of delivery we were so scared ours would be broken in some manner. We both watched the delivery people drop it off the back of the truck. A distance of about 2 feet. We looked at each other and expected the worst. The delivery lady knew we had witnessed the drop. She, with little concern, said if it was broke, just call Amazon. I complained about the drop and was told it wasn’t marked as glass, fragile, or handle with care. I would have fired them both on the spot. They wouldn’t wait until we could inspect it. We thought of all the trouble we were going to have to go through to return it, then wait for another one. We carefully unpacked it. It had multiple layers of Styrofoam to protect it. The corners were all doubly protected. When we finally reached the armoire, to our shock it was in pristine condition. We couldn’t believe our eyes. It was almost completely assembled except for the top lid and the bottom legs. The assembly was a breeze. It is now a piece in our home we are proud of. Amazon gorilla movers 0 stars. The armoire was 5+ stars. When I think of how many hands it went through before it got to us, it reminds me of just how well it was packed.

Beautiful, Art Deco, sturdy

I’m so so happy! I’ve wanted a jewelry armoire for years, but I couldn’t find one I really cared for and was at a decent price. I saw this one, that Art Deco vibe, and I just had to have it. I held off for a YEAR! because I worried about reviews of it coming broken (I really don’t like returning things); well I bit the bullet and I couldn’t be happier! It’s my birthday today, it’s a pleasant happenstance that when I ordered it I got an Amazon delivery date for today, and the Amazon men showed up in a large truck and handled my 75lb box lovingly and were so polite! I unpacked it—yeah, there are 4 layers of styrofoam!, and once I saw no damage I took it in the house and downstairs (it really is easier to carry in the box) and it was so awesome! The holes easily lined up for the mirror top AND they give you a real screwdriver to do it with! I didn’t put the legs on as it’s tall enough with out it and I have plush carpet I didn’t want to worry about the thing toppling with legs on (I will fill it full!). I just can’t say enough, this is a sturdy and heavy piece of furniture, it’s so beautiful, it’s incredibly well packaged, and Amazon will deliver it on a large furniture truck with two men instead of the usual can and one man. I’m just soo soo pleased and happy! For the aficionado: I don’t think it’s wood, but a composite of some kind but the silver border around the mirrors does have a brushed feel so it doesn’t look plastic; there are no glides for the drawers, the brown felt is unfortunately poo brown (white not white, black, gray?!), the knobs are sturdy but they do have a rubber stopper between them and the mirror to prevent scratching. It looks, it feels, so beautiful!
