good for the price.
I use these when I am photographing wildlife in the winter, so I am not using them for their intended purpose of "Snow Sports", but the price was right so I couldn't pass them up. Pros= The Price is right, they seems well built, they fit great, the camo is very nice, they are warm (see cons), they have plenty of good quality pockets (I especially like the zippered front pockets), and they fit over my insulated hunting boots. Cons= they are plastic-ish and sound like a crumpling garbage bag when I'm walking through the forest, not real loud but not silent for sure (again though, not their intended use). They are pretty warm but you can definitely start to feel a chill when you get to the low teens and single digits, especially if you have to stop and sit quietly for any amount of time. I have a pair of Gerry winter pants that have fleece lining and are much warmer for about the same price BUT I can't find them in camo. All in all though these are good pants and I am pretty happy with them.

Midwest winter necessity ⛄️
This year decided to search for a new winter paint. I’ve been wearing the same now beat up coveralls for twenty or so years. These were on sale. Could handle the sun zero occasional weather. And, match my new Sorel’s. They fit very well. Do not look masculine. But for a man would. They’re very gender neutral. Compared to the woman’s similar pair half as much when I purchased. I’m able to wear them over sweats and jeans. Or, well, pantless ???? The weather got to be -30 degrees F, and I needed to blow snow as it wasn’t gonna be any better the rest of the week. Had to get myself out of the driveway. These pants partnered with the subzero boots and good upper gear kept me toasty warm. The only spot cold was my nose and glasses kept fogging up. Two hours outside and no issues what so ever. I’m so happy. These look nice. Don’t mind going to the post office or an errand in them if needed. Highly recommend this winter accessory if you expect a cold winter. I don’t ski, but would say these could be a great compliment to your gear if ya do. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️????

I like them but they are to big
I really like the snow pants however they are to big for my son and he just finally came home from college. I know it says the window is closed to return them but I was wondering if you would make an exception since he has been out of state until today. Or could I exchange them for a different size?

Well made, but very narrow legs. And 4” waist intervals = hit or miss at sizing.
1. Well made, though Velcro cinch at waist does Nothing to snug up fit. Elastic gaiters do a good job of fitting over my snow boots, though they are too large to grip my ankles if I were just wearing hiking shoes. 2. VERY skinny pant legs. I have VERY skinny legs, and the pants are just barely big enough for my thighs. Even for my legs, I wish there was more room. If you are stocky, no way will these fit around your thighs. 3. Medium is “32-34” waist and Large is “36-38” waist. This is a 4” jump between sizes (not 2”!) and the Velcro waist pulls do Nothing to tighten up the waist. So, medium is really 34” waist and large is 38” waist. I’m a 35” waist and had to go with the medium, because the large is Way too big and the velcro does Nothing. Velcro is worthless. The medium is tight on me, but it’s the lesser of two evils. No way I can eat a big meal in these. I wish these pants were offered in 2” waist intervals like most pants. If they offered a true 35-36 waist, I’d donate these and buy a proper size.

I don’t quite fit their sizing chart
I wanted to retire my old pair of ski pants and I saw these at a nice price. I paid close attention to the many comments about size (they run small, they run large- etc.). Based on this, I ordered the medium, 32-34" waist, with 32" inseam. (For reference, I am 6'1" and 208 lbs. and typically fit well into 34 or 36” jeans.) Length was perfect but I could barely get them snapped, even with waist tighteners completely loose and before adding base layer and thermals underneath. I immediately swapped them for the large, 36-38" waist. I was disappointed to find the exact opposite was true this time. Wearing base layer and thermals underneath and with Velcro tighteners as snug as they could go, I could still easily pull them right off over my hips. Belt loops are included, but I find belts to be a little restrictive. Overall, my initial impression is that they are well made and I suspect they will be plenty warm and water resistant, and there's lots of storage with two zipper pockets and two Velcro ones further down. I think this product is good for the money, but it would be nice if Arctix would offer a 34-36" waist size for those of us in this middling range. I hope this review will help those around my size understand this sizing gap.

Great value- fun colors
I've bought two of these. Hold up well for and are warm but not hot. I ski very hard and put them through a lot of abuse! Medium fits well for me a 5-9, 160lb.

Definitely keeps you warm
These pants feel nice and will definitely keep you warm…. My only complaint is the double waist hook with velcro waist/belt, it is hard to get the hooks together with the velcro so close. But I’m a bit husky so maybe that is why.

Really nice pants, good quality material and warm inside. Wasn't expecting that so 5 stars per sure.
I am quite short (165cm) and usually wear 30x30 jeans. The waste fits really well, no need for belts or anything else. The length is a bit long for me, which is fine for skying/snowboarding, but very annoying if I am just going for a walk. I upload a picture with my Levi's 30x30 over Arctix so I hope it gives you a measurement proportion.

Good Quality and Price But Fit Larger Than Expected
This is my second pair of Arctix Snow Pants. I first purchased the Arctix Mens Essential Snow Pants last year and liked them but wanted to get a pair with side pockets. I tried ordering the Cargo pants a few times last year but they were always sold out. I decided to get the jump on the season and order they pants in August before the rush. These Arctix Classic Cargo Snow Pants are well made. The quality better than my previous Essential Pair so I was happy to see all the seams, stitching, buttons and zippers were perfect. These pants are warm with good sized size pockets. I ordered the 32-34" Size just like my previous Essential Arctix Snow pants and discovered the fit is not the same. These Classic Cargo pants fit bigger and have a lower crotch than the Essential Snow Pants. ••• Tip On Sizing ••• If you are uncertain about sizing I would recommend you size down. I found these pants to 'Fit on the Larger Side' of the sizing chart. There are velcro fasteners on the sizes but even with them being pulled as tight as possible my pants were still too big. ••• HIGHLY RECOMMEND But ! ••• I would highly recommend these Arctix Cargo Snow Pants or any Arctix snow pants. I've bought three pairs so far and for the price they are a very good value and hard to beat. Just make sure you order the right size! I send my medium's back and got a small pair that fits just right.

Sizing is all over the place
Very difficult to order these pants when some people say the size runs large and others that the size runs small. I just went with the sizing chart provided that said medium would be good for someone with a 32-34 waist (which is exactly what I get when I buy jeans or work pants) but they are tiny! The waist is nowhere near 32-34 inches, I can't even do the buttons on the waist, so they are at least 2 or 3 inches off. The mediums I received would probably fit someone with a 30 inch waist and be snug. The funny thing is, some people who bought medium have said they would be good for someone with a 35-38 inch waist! How the hell do you pick the correct size?! Shame, as the pants seem like they would be good. Guess I'll be returning these.
