A Good Pond Filter

Although somewhat on the expensive side, the filters are working just fine. The algae that it traps is fairly easily hosed out. The filter seems to catch everything that comes its way, including leaves, sticks and other debris. Looks like they will last a fairly long time.

wrong item for skimmer

this item did not fit my skimmer as it showed on the site i got it when i was going to do a water change missed the window for return called myself getting everything ready didnt check when it came in ):

Very durable filter

I really like these better than the ones with the thinner strands. It works well for large particulates, and is very durable and easy to clean. I use a full strength power washer to clean it, and it does not blow it apart. Aquascape's normal mat is much more frail and rips when being power washed.

This one does not pull out the debris like the other material. Kind of sorry I bought it actually as I now need to by the other one to really keep my pond clean.

Good quality

Works pretty good keeping the leaves out of the pump. Some matter gets by but not enough to harm my solids handing pump anyhow. Easy to blow or with a hose. Hold up and does not get flimsy or degrade.

That was great to discover

Product was as advertised. What wasn't obvious from the picture was that it had been cut ahead of time so that it would fit around the pump line. That was great to discover! Also it fit exactly into our skimmer.
