Durable pump with no electrical issues that trip GFCI
I got this pump to replace a fountain pump which had started to trip my GFCI and shut down. After 3 months, it has worked perfectly, My only criticism is the lack of options in the hose adapter. My fountain feature needed a low profile pump and the tower style adapter was too tall. However, my lucky day I suppose, as the old pump's adapter had the same threads, and so I reused the old one.

At first I thought a 560 gph water pump was plenty for the effect I was looking for but I was wrong.

Easily replaces old Aquascape 1500 gpm pump in fountain, but noisy
This Aquascape 91009 Ultra Pump replaces an eight year old Aquascape 1500 gpm pump that failed. It was pretty much plug and play. I had to get a part from the local hardware store because I did not want to replace the existing 3-way fountain manifold. Not a big deal. A somewhat bigger deal is the noise. The pump this replaced made no noise that I can recall ever hearing. In contrast, the 91009 can easily be heard from a deck 20 feet away. I'll likely look at other vendors if I ever have to replace this pump.

These pumps work great, are powerful, but would like some sort of filter housing to reduce the number of times the filter pad ends up clogging and has to be washed out/replaced to get the unit at full power again.

Underwhelmed, don’t bother NEXT!
The media could not be loaded. PASS, just do yourself a favor!! Second UPDATE: So I paid for the return to the mfgt (both of these pumps went out with in 2-3 mo of install) they arrived last week and I called this week to check on status. Spoke with Mike, he had no idea the pumps had been received, and was going to check with receiving. I asked to receive an update email. Well over 24 hrs later still no update. Called again spoke with Courtney and started all over again, except now I was told the return process takes 3weeks or MORE!!!! She said Mike would call me back and I said she should since she is now holding the ball. We shall see.... UPDATE!! This pump was installed 2/24/19, it barely moves water now!! See video 4/10/19. CUSTOMER SERVICE NIGHTMARE!!! Even though I register it for warranty, still needed my info and aquascape did not have the capability to look it up. All purchase info should be available there in the warranty submission, they wanted proof of purchase AGAIN, emailed it. Thought a replacement pump was on its way, only to receive an email which proved I was in limbo AND AGAIN NEEDED TO SUPPLY PROOF OF PURCHASE. In the mean while my pond is turning on me. AND I need to pay for return shipping!!! OUTRAGOUS! KEDSUM 880GPH Submersible Pump(3500L/H, 100W), Ultra Quiet Water Pump with 13ft High Lift, Fountain Pump with 5.9 ft Power Cord, 3 Nozzles for Fish Tank, Pond, Aquarium, Statuary, Hydroponics https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01CGAD986/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_lWCXCb4Q4GDTC This little pump BLOWS this pricey near $200 pump out of the water!!! Very pricey for the output $172!!!. The 1100 gph was disappointing. I have a $24 800gph little unit that is a far better value, and I can’t tell much difference in the output. I also have a 1200gph that is much more powerful than this 1100 unit, it sold for $80. NEXT! The good, the splitter adapter is something I’m looking forward to using. I am concerned it will only produce trickles. Get a returned item for value. Extreamy quiet unit, can’t hear it. Two stars because it’s so pricey and not very powerful. No bang for your buck. I might try their more powerful units if these hold up ( I have two), and only if there is a big price drop. I’ll attempt to update with a longgevity report. This one was installed Dec 2018.

I bought this pump for my son but I have the same pump for use in my backyard waterfall. It has worked nicely for two years (except winter when I shut down the waterfall). I also run a spitting frog off the pump.

OK pump.
I like the Aquascape pumps. I previously had a higher rated GPH pump, which was way too much for our application, and therefore switched it out for this one. Be careful about the dimensions. These pumps are quite big. UPDATE -- my first pump lasted less than six months. There is some sort of blockage which is impossible to remove; the unit is totally sealed. I'm quite disappointed that the pump didn't last very long. I have purchased a second one, but this time bought the SquareTrade extended warranty.

Strong Little Pump
Running a small waterfall on my patio pond. Like the multi-size hose adapter. The prefilter cage comes off way too easily. A latch or clip would have been a good idea.

sponge filter is a problem
Easy to install. Sufficient power to give a nice flow in the pond waterfall. Challenges in connecting to my existing pipes was overcome with a bit of silicon seal. Unfortunately, my satisfaction is considerably diminished by the fact that the sponge filter clogs fairly quickly (1-1.5 days) and I just do not want to have to clean the sponge daily. So I have removed the sponge and hope that whatever gets in will pass right through and be instead captured by the Aquascape UltraKleen filter that lies between the pump and the waterfall. fingers crossed. I will post again if the pump dies. Installed late April 2020
