Ordered new; Looks like it has been opened before

The packaging was strange in that it looked as though some of the colors had already been opened and even played with in the built-in lid shapes. Some of the colors were nicely packaged inside, while some were just thrown in. As such, one of the colors already felt dried out some.

So much better than slime or play doh for a little one :)

It comes in a nice carrying case and the top of the case has “form” areas in the shapes of a square, triangle, circle and star…easy to fill these areas with the material and make shapes. The material also is easy to work with to make other shapes. It’s not gooey or messy and my little grandson enjoys playing with it. The only negative is that although it comes in several nice colors, once they start getting mixed together there’s just no way to make them a solid color once more…from a practical stand point, I wouldn’t expect that to be an option anyway but thought I’d point it out. The price point was very reasonable. I would give this as a gift as well. Very nice little play set and packaging.

Kids like it- for a while

it’s an alright product. makes me feel more wasteful. the kids enjoyed it for a while. picks up hair and dirt when it inevitably falls on the floor. colors are all mixed within the forst 15 minutes. styrofoam beads makes me feel bad about more plastic pollution when it inevitably ends up in the trash

Doesn't last

The media could not be loaded. After a while obviously the colors get mixed. The kids are not complaining, but I am. Super messy, the beads get everywhere now. I have had this foam for over a year now and the foam has lost it's sticky. The foam beads don't stick together that well. You make a shape and it falls apart very easy. For the value of money it was great while it lasted, but don't expect it too last forever. Yeah it's giftable if you hate the parents lol. The foam was kept in our play room and now it has go in the trash.

Son loves it but box will not closed due to missing latch

Bought this for the convenience of the box. My son loves taking this everywhere but the box does not stay closed due to the missing latch.

We Love It

It’s very easy to play with, not messy, and the kids have lots of fun with it. You can’t mix colors though, we are careful not to do that, it’s up to you if you want too. It stays soft as long as you keep it in the case, will purchase more.

Fun playfoam set that includes 5 sea animals and built in molds!

We are huge fans of playfoam so I knew my kids would love this set! This set comes with 6 bricks of playfoam and it also comes with 5 sea animal friends. It also comes in a carrying set with built in molds so we will definitely be taking this set with us next time we travel. Playfoam keeps my kids (ages 3.5 & 5) occupied for a long time! I am a huge fan of sensory play so I love that my kids can use their imagination to create different things and the possibilities are endless on what they can make with playfoam. One of my favorite things about playfoam is that clean up is so easy and especially with this set because we can put everything back in the carrying case when they are done playing. We have a ton of playfoam in our house and it never dries up! We love playfoam and we highly recommend it!

Kids won't stop playing with this

We bought this product the first day of the month long quarantine. We were looking for something that would keep our 3 year old occupied while I worked from home and my old child continued her schooling online. This product is great I'm able to leave it out on the table for my 3 year old to come over to anytime he wants. It doesn't dry out and is easy to clean up. The sea creatures are a favorite of both my children they love to hide them inside the foam then squeeze so hard that the creatures pop out. One of my favorites of this product is the carrying case. I've seen products like this before selling the foam only. This product from Educational Insight out does the other products I've seen because of the carrying case we can take it with us to the restaurant and it's so easy to store.
