Knob won't slip off

Replaced the original faucet that came with the reverse osmosis filter from this same company. The original faucet's knob wasn't well designed and kept slipping off. The knob is tightened with a screw, so this one should be sturdy for years to come. This one also came with a washer for above and below the faucet, unlike the original where I had to rig an upper washer to get the faucet tight against the sink. After everything on this new faucet was tightened, the reverse osmosis was turned on. I heard zip - no air escape, no trickle of water. Nothing. I turned it off and waited about 15 minutes only to get a trickle. Thought there was something in the faucet (some sort of plug or cover) that had to be removed. No. Just needed to wait about an hour or so for the water to start pouring out full force.

Missing parts

I am not very happy at this point, the faucet looks nice, easy to install until you get to the point of installing the water line. There is nothing in this box except the faucet and the washers to connect to countertop. From look at one of the videos there should be a faucet adapter which connects to the water line. Anticipating returning the faucet.

This fits, trouble at all, no adjustments. I really like how the neck swivels. The brushed nickel matches my other faucet.

Very happy with this even though its only 1/4 inch

This is a very high quality faucet. It replaced a 3/8" faucet which I preferred for the much higher flow rate but it rusted out really bad and I couldn't find a quality 3/8" replacement. The on/off knob is extremely smooth, the provided gasket and crush fitting was very nice to have. Other than having to go get a 3/8 to 1/4 quick connect adapter, I didn't need anything else. The quality of the box the faucet came in was actually very nice as well. Usually you get these from Amazon in a plastic bag, or rattling around in some cheap dented box with some foam in it, but this came in a product formed box which didn't allow anything to move or rattle around. You can clearly see that the company who created this product thought about delivering a quality, long lasting piece of equipment. I honestly thought it was a bit pricey for what it is, but now that I have it I'm glad I spent the extra $5-$10 on it, totally worth it. Please note that this is NOT for air gap, I had already converted mine but I recommended this product to a friend and they had to order air gap conversion pieces.

Thank You APEC!

Got this to replace a 30 year old cold water faucet for drinking water. I was worried that it wouldn't match up and I'd be running to the hardware store. Well, it didn't match up, but the thoughtful people at APEC also enclosed what I needed to get the connection put together right with no leaks. Considering that the nearest place to get plumbing parts is 40+ miles away, they get a big thank you from me. As far as the faucet itself, everybody thinks it's a huge upgrade. The discharge pipe does seem a little wobbly and it's not nearly as robust as what it replaced, but it doesn't leak a bit unless you pull on it. Once the valve is shut it can't leak anything other than what is in the discharge pipe. The design makes it easy to replace the O-ring in the future if it ever does leak. Maybe go a little bigger on the O-ring if you don't like the way it fits. Valve shuts off the water with no leakage. Overall I'd buy from them again with no reservations.

Great looking addition

We had the original faucet that came with the APEC ROES system, and once the lock button stopped working, I couldn't take it and looked for a replacement. I'm glad I ordered this one. I could have purchased a cheaper one but chose to keep with the naked of the system... Brand loyalty right... But also my water has been great, so I was inclined to stick with what I knew.

Faucet looks good but disappointed - no installation directions not hardware to install.

This product came with NO instruction sheet. There was a diagram on the box, but the box was too covered in packing label information that you could not see it. There was not one nut, bolt, washer in the box. I called the company, but I did not get resolved.

Great water filter faucet with a classic look

This faucet is nice! Great weight, the install was easy, the finish is good. The spout and handle are all metal. It’s just what I needed for my reverse osmosis filter to give a more classic look when we renovated the kitchen and replaced our sink. I’d rate it five stars, but I haven’t had it installed that long. If you need a faucet and you are on the fence, I recommend it!
