I purchased these for my daughter room. I'll break down the review by parts. PACKAGING The package was one box and it was heavy but unmanageable for me. I am a 33 yearold female who is about 5'9. The pieces were protected with styrofoam and came with out any breaks or scuffs. The bolts and instructions are loose in the box so it takes a bit to hunt them out. LABELING OF PIECES The box I was sent had each piece clearly labeled. ASSEMBLY In total there are three different types of screws used so it is pretty easy to figure out what goes where. An Allen wrench is included and is all you need. Directions are decent but came be easily misunderstood. Especially when putting the back boards on shelves. A and D are different then B and C. If you look at pictures you will see how it is suppose to be. I asked several people how they would read it and got different answers. This might be an issue for you or might not. I guess it is based on how you see the world. Shelves went together easy as everything is predrilled. there was a slight leveling issue, which caused me to take a part and reassemble to get it closer to leavell. It is still a but off but nothing to bad. I found that my bottom shelf tilts down a bit. I fixed this by readjusting were I put the screws with a level on the shelf to keep me in check. I recieved on piece that was fabricated wrong. The predrilled holes on that leg where on the wrong side. I just flipped it so they could screw into the shelves and didnt bother with the two screws that secure the leg in the beginning. The shelf was still stable with just attaching the shelves. SUMMATION All in all it was a good buy for the price. My kid loves the color and they fit well in her room. The are basically practical board and metal. But from a distance they look decent. I would purchase again for any future kids or a guest bedroom. WEAR AND TEAR So I dropped the pieces a few times while assembling. I dropped metal on metal and that left a ding and paint chip. Wood fell over and no major scratches occurred. WARNING if you use a power drill to assemble (I did) be very mindful to go slow. I almost cut through wood because I hit it to fast.

Very unfortunate experience, DON’T BET YOUR MONEY

I normally do not write negative review, and it will be first negative review i will ever leave. This product is bad...first off, the quality of wood is not threaded enough, not polished or even trimmed. i was worried if this furniture could stand the weight of the TV. Secondly, the wood pieces came broken. It might be carrier’s fault, but still i found annoying that you have to go through hassle of return. This maybe also the result of making this product with “not so strong” wood pieces. Lastly and the worst, there were not enough screws and angle brackets. Apart from poor quality woods and broken pieces delivery, screw/brackets missing is entirely seller’s fault. How do you even expect customer to build and test the product if parts are missing to build? Such a careless job...we are returning this product and we got the better quality TV stand for cheaper price at wayfair.

Easy to assemble!

I put both of these together all by myself, a 5ft 2 inch 53 year old female. It’s not difficult at all. Most important is having as big a space as possible to assemble. It took me 1.5 hours to assemble both. My advice is to read and follow the instructions carefully. When attaching the shelves to the metal frame, leave the screws only partially screwed in, maybe halfway, until you get all the screws inserted. That way it has a little give to get them all lined up with the holes. If they are way out of alignment, double check that you put the shelves together correctly. Look very closely at the pictured instructions. I’m very pleased with these, they are a nice addition to my sewing room for some additional storage. They feel very sturdy and solid. A great value for the price.

Not complicated, but not easy to assemble.

I think this will look nice after we assemble the bookcases. Assembling the tv stand was not complicated, but it wasn't easy either. I did it myself, and a second person would help tremendously for aligning some of the bolts and screws. DO have a power screwdriver on hand, to speed up the process. I started using a ratcheting screwdriver, and regret the time I wasted by not getting the electric out sooner. The back panels were an odd fit, and either the screw holes didn't line up, or I couldn't figure out how to get it aligned right, but by that time I was too tired to care. Everything arrived in great shape. This isn't fancy furniture, but it provides a lot of storage space, which is a premium around here. The stand is really large... I guess we'll have to get a bigger TV...

Easy to Assemble - No Instructions Provided

I bought this with the ladder stand pair. There were no instructions included to build the tv stand, but I found it online via the Ameriwood site under instruction manuals. You'll need the product code that can be found on the box, or on this page. Took me about an hour to build. It says assembly requires 2 people, but I was able to build it by myself (though it will make your life easier to build it with someone else). Instructions were straightforward and simple. There is a slight wobble to one of the legs, but I'm going to chalk it up to perhaps the unevenness of my floor. For the price paid, looks great and is sturdy enough for my 60" TV.

You get what you pay for. Still love it

I decided to purchase the tv stand and the shelves. Tip: buying the tv stand and shelves bundle separate is cheaper than the full bundle I have seen being sold elsewhere. Also, be careful when assembling. The parts came in perfect condition, but the particle board is very sensitive to any type of dings.The tv stand was extremely hard to put together because a lot of the holes did not match up 100%. So now the tv stand relies on the weight of my tv to push it down a little bit in the center. As a whole, I love the whole set. It makes my living room look like a show house. I still believe it was a great value. Some periodic meditation may be required during assembly. It is pictured with a 58” tv.

Happy but arrived slightly damaged

It is hard to tell dimensions when shopping online. This piece was slightly larger than I thought it would be. One of the wooden pieces arrived broken. Otherwise, this is exactly what I wanted and I am happy with my purchase.

Arduous Assembly

Really great TV stand but as some other reviews mentioned it was incredibly difficult to put together. That took away 1 star for me. Otherwise it’s good quality for the price!
