Perfect fit for American Standard Cadet 3 (4021) 1.28gpf toilet

Exact same component (even same colors) that was installed with toilet in 2011, and this part code was on the label under tank lid. The green flapper is the 1.28 gpf one. If you google for a A.S. Cadet 3 (4021) flush valve ,what often comes up is ‎738921-100.0070A, which is the 1.6 gpf valve; if you want to use more water per flush, and likely save some money on the valve (it seems easier to find, and typically less expensive) then get that one. I decided to replace exactly what was already there, so got this one - ‎738921-103.0070

Do NOT purchase an American Standard easy clean potty.

Make sure you can access all connections from the outside. That entire toilet needs to be disassembled to simply tighten the seat, along with other parts which failed after a few years. Amazon was very kind about refunding the price when I returned parts for 2 toilets ($50) when trusted plumbers were going to charge me again (probably another $280?). Their original visit eventually made both toilets worse but I'm sure toilet design caused it. So yeah, 4 stars because the part is probably fine but I'd never buy that brand again. I purchased two new Kohler toilets instead.

Great product and value.

I bought the toilet from Lowe's about ten years ago. When I needed a new flapper assembly I was sad that neither Lowe's or Home Depot had it. It's great that I can get parts for my toilet here.

Good Quality

Exactly what I needed. Much better quality than some of the after market replacements I have seen. This was the exact part number my American Standard Toilet called for. I worried about spending the extra money for OEM, but in this case, glad I purchased.

Saved me from buying a new toilet

Replaces an old CRANE flush valve (Bell Style - Certain Flush). Easy installation. You DO need to buy a tank to bowl gasket kit with this.
