So, I bought a MEAT! #32 1.5 hp meat grinder. The fed tray is a pain to feed mat into the feed tube. The guard is just "in the way". Instead of bypassing the guard, I researched and found this funnel. The description was perfect and purchased it. It fits PERFECTLY in the top feed hole for the #32 grinder. Actually, it fits better than the tray that came with it. It's shape is such that I would really have to try to fit my fingers down the hole far enough to even get close to the grinder auger, so it's safe for my wife and I for use. You can literally dump as much meat as fast as you can now and still never get ahead of the grinder.

Very light, very durable.

I work at a fish fry where we hose out the fryers of all the breading and other gunk. There is a drain in the floor but it’s awful to aim the fryer drain to get all the nasty gunk directly into the drain. This funnel barely fits into the drain and catches the water perfectly. Would buy again.

barely fits wide mouth ball jars

Jesus bless you! this is a big funnel and the neck barely fits into a wide mouth ball jar ... it only fits about 3/4 of an inch into the jar you can push it in a bit to make it wedge in more firmly but it will not go all the way i bought it to use with the jars and i think i will still keep it it doubles as a coustume hat as the "tin man" lol

Serious sous vide saver!

I purchased this for a restaurant cooking sous vide. Not getting food on the bag so it would seal was difficult. Canning funnels were too short, and the opening too small. A cut off plastic spice container kind of worked, but was too flimsy to last, and not really big enough. This funnel is absolutely, exactly, right. Pictures don’t do it justice, it’s big. The bowl of the funnel is larger than my cereal bowls by almost double. The tube is large enough that I can stuff pork chops through it. The stem off the bottom is long enough that I can hold the sous vide bag over it with one hand, filling with the other. It’s all aluminum, and can be hand washed easily (that big tube is easy to sponge), or thrown in the dishwasher (aluminum may discolor, of course). There’s no handle, but if you’re holding the bag on with one hand, and filling with the other, it wouldn’t help anyway. I wish the product would show when searching for “sous vide”. Anyone into the technique should be introduced to this item. I’ve never been this enthusiastic about a funnel in my life!

Really Heavy-Duty, Best for Dry Ingredients?

Stout, Stout, Stout! This isn't going to bend and crack like a plastic funnel (which is the reason we got it to begin with. Aside from the HD construction, it sits nicely upright when placed, especially in *large* mouth jars (please note that this doesn't properly fit into a wide-mouth Ball jar). We use it to fill (non-canning type) gallon jars and mylar bags. The capacity excellent, as is the throughput, due to the wide spout. The reason it's best for dry ingredient is that the top is bowl-shaped, not cone-shaped. Hence enough of a tilt and a small amount of liquid will remain in the top until tilted upright again. Excellent funnel, with limitations noted.

Best funnel ever for canning

This funnel will allow you to fill any container without any problem. I plan to use it for filling mylar bags with freeze dried products like apple slices, peaches, whatever. I will also be able to use it when canning or transferring honey from large, 5 gallon cans into smaller jars. It should last forever and will easily fit wide mouth jars. Shipping was so fast! Only ONE day!
