The media could not be loaded. Just finished our first trip with this bag. Carried all of my husband's tommy bahama linen shirts and pants in it. He wears a two x so his clothes are not tiny. They fit perfect and very minimal wrinkling when we opened it. A little bit of downy fabric spray and we were good to go I highly recommend this bag

Light Weight, Durable

Nice garment bag. Material is light weight and durable. My sport coat (long) fit well. Shoulder strap is adjustable.

Very nice for the price

We used this for a weekend trip for a wedding. I had two suits, some dress shirts, and my wife’s gown in it, plus a pair of shoes, a belt, and a tie. It was checked baggage, and it went through the handling both ways with flying colors. No major problems, only the dress shirts got a bit wrinkled. Very well made of sturdy material.

Happy Traveler

My husband has been driving me crazy with a dinky travel bag that looked like a high school boy picked it out. I encouraged him to upgrade to this garment bag & he loves it! Works great for air travel & fits his suits, dress shirts, one pair of shoes, & all of his gadgets.

Adequate garment bag

First, I like the size of the bag. It is smaller than full size bags and is easy to manuver. One down side is there is no inside strap to secure your garments. I was surporised that my garments tended to be more wrinked as compared to other bags I have used. Overall, this is a solid 'basic' garment bag.

I have now used this a couple of times. I take my rolling suitcase, my briefcase, and would like tot take a garment bag that I can hang in the closet of the airplane. I hate checking bags and bought this so I could take a few garments without creasing on flights with me. I often need suits in Europe and over New Year's went to an event that need black tie for me and my wife. In both cases, the garments came out fine. I asked the flight attendants to hang the bag on the way to Europe. They did it without a problem, in part because I am the highest-tier elite flyer on their airline, but it seemed bulky and took up a lot of room. I'm sure that on some airlines, they would require me to check the bag. I took a domestic carrier on the way to the NY Eve gala and there were no closets. Again I am the highest tier flyer on that airline and board first and they did not protest (in either direction) but I think there are times when another airline might. So, it works well. No wrinkles. Easy to work with. But, It is too bulky and heavy for the use I intend.

Just what I needed

This bag was perfect for my recent trip to America. I needed to transport my wedding dress and accessories as cabin luggage and the size of this carrier was permitted on the airline I travelled with. There was plenty of room for my shoes, dress (not a big meringue type dress but quite long), small solid sided handbag and my husband's shirt. Could have got lots more in (and did on the return journey). The bag is lightweight to start with which is helpful. Plenty of different pockets to hep organise and keep things separate. I like the fact that you can slot at least two coat hangers in the top. They don't poke out of the top of the bag whilst travelling but, when the bag is open, you can hang it from the hangers very easily. I also like the soft bar across the middle and the restraining strap. A very well designed bag and i'm sure I will get plenty of use out of it. It would hold enough for a short break without any problem. I spent a long time researching other bags before I settled on this one and I am very glad I did.

Looks good, lightweight and up to the job.

I last purchased a suit carrier around 1999 - and it showed! It's dark green material and light brown leather hadn't aged particularly well and when recently using the case travelling, it managed to draw some light ribbing from my companions. Being a bit tatty, with a side of mild abuse I decided it was time to replace, but I didn't want to spend a lot of money. Enter the Amazon Basics Premium Garment bag. At around £30 - the price was right, it looked okay (certianly better than its 20 year old Green and Brown predecessor) so I ordered. Arrival was prompt as always and the case was impressive. It's lightweight but doesn't feel cheap or that it would be easily damaged. Lots of compartments and decent space. It's first trip would a week away that would require a suit for a day or so and then some casual wear. It happily accommodated the suit, two shirts, tie, a pair of shoes, small washing bag, jeans, some t-shirts as well as pants/socks for the week. It was a tight-ish fit, but there was no wrestling with the zip to get it closed and whilst a fair bit bulkier than before, everything fit. The one downside of overloading the bag a tad was that the shoulder strap dug in more than was comfortable. Under a more reasonable load I'm sure it would operate fine, however in this case I had a red shoulder for a few days after my trip. For the money, you can't go wrong, looks decent and performs well. Very happy. Pros: Lightweight Good size Well priced/good value Cons: Shoulder strap could be better.

Great budget suit carrier

Now is the season for Black Tie events and this garment bag is great and ticks all the boxes. Very roomy with straps to keep your items secure without creasing and the compartments are very handy and well thought out. The zips, stitching and handles all seem to be well made. The only criticism I would have is the lack of metal coat hook to hang the carrier in a wardrobe or on a bar. There is a metal loop but a coat hanger type hook would be better.

the only carrier I have been able to find for long dresses

This is a great length for long dresses on a cruise. Before I had to bend the bottom up and they tended to crease but this is a great length. It would have been helpful had it taken more since on cruises you need several. However better than anything else I have found and not a bad price. I have not taken it yet and am not sure it is really robust. I will find out tomorrow. Having used it I have found it brilliant. Lots of pockets and long enough to take my evening dresses. Pretty robust and folds so it is easy to carry . Also has shoulder strap. Congratulations Amazon meeting a real need

Seems to be exactly what I wanted

As I said appears to be an ideal choice, but as I haven’t yet used it I cannot say if the clothes “travel” crease free, but certainly it has the the capacity to hold, for me at least, a dinner suit, a pair of trousers, two shirts, two pair of shoes and many accessories. The big test next week!
