Better than expected

I was expecting some basic twine for the price this is a tight braided twine, not twisted. Just perfect for a tight line and also very strong.

Time will tell

I bought this to use for jug fishing. It does not fray as bad when you cut it with your knife to tie to the jugs or hooks. So far so good but only one trip so far.

Light duty but works.

Stretches overnight when you come back the next day to continue the job. But same day use it's ok.

Great for string lines and marking out footings

Ideal twine when you need a thin string line. It is quite strong, so you can put it under a fair deal of tension to remove sag on longer runs. There is plenty enough of it, so you can leave your lines in place after prepping. Perfect stuff more marking out ground prior to digging footings too. Of course, there are other uses for this, the only limit is your imagination I guess….and weight of material you are tying! It never hurts to have a reel of twine in the garage or out house and this stuff looks like it will last for years in storage. I can’t comment on value for money as this is a prelaunch product, but one reel should last you.

Durable water proof twine that is ideal for outdoor projects.

This mason twine is is made from heavy duty synthetic nylon fibre and as such is strong while also being resilient to water, oils and acids. This makes it perfect for outdoor use, particularly in DIY and camping. You can also use this to tie up packaging or to suspend items indoors - there is no scent from this twine and so it can be used inside or outside the home. The white colour makes it unobtrusive, I have personally used this in my nursery classroom to suspend branches and twigs from the ceiling for some natural interest. The twine is strong and durable enough to support the branches and it just blend in with the background. The fibre is soft and could be used in a variety of projects which is great.

It's glossy coat means it will certainly resist moisture.

This string is highly braided and is quite fine/thin. It's bright white. There's a glossy coating on the thread which makes it moisture proof and perfect for outdoor use and also to keep it untarnished. I found that knotting it needed to be done a certain way or it would slip. I think you cannot have it both way though. Either you have the impermeability and this tendency to slip or easy to knot and soak able by moisture.

Very strong and durable!

It is not the kind of cord you would use for arts and crafts as a design element, as you would with its cotton thicker counterpart - this one is quite thin! It is extra strong though and is fab for fixing something together, as it will withstand mpousture and all the elements. Highly recommended!
