Decent for the Price - Easy Assembly; thin seat pad; good back support; rolls very (too) easily
Decent for ~$140ish. Back support is good. Adjustable lumbar pad doesn't really accomplish much, but it's there and doesn't get in the way. Seat cushion is thin, so it's not especially comfortable by the end of the workday, and it would be nice if the cushion were about 1.5" longer for better thigh support for tall folks (I'm 6'4"). The chair is also quite light -- this is fine except that it can cause the chair to roll VERY easily, so be careful when getting up because the chair can slide out from under you. Assembly is easy and relatively standard for a chair like this. Recommended, but it's what you would expect for this price.

Not the most comfortable or easy to assemble
The use case for this chair was to use it as a task chair for a high table. I decided to create a tinker space in my attic, and thought this chair would be a good addition to that space. I like that it has a footrest, and it is adjustable. The flip up arms allow it to tuck in under the table if I want to be closer and looking at something from top down. Comfort-wise, it's just ok. I am not planning on spending hours sitting in it, and nothing about it makes me want to do that. The back is nice that it's mesh, since my attic can get warm and humid. It rolls, but it rolls a little too easily. I do wish it had a lock of some sort to keep it from rolling. Assembly was ok, a few things felt cheap and didn't quite align, but in the end, it came together looking cohesive.

Good basic chair for a high desk
This chair is very basic, but does it's job, except in one major area--the casters were basically non-functional, so I replaced them with high quality casters, which made a world of difference. The back of the chair does not adjust, nor does it have a lumbar pillow. The arms of the chair to raise up, but do not adjust in any other way. Height is changed with the typical below-seat lever. The fabric is patterned and attractive, and the seat cushion is moderately comfortable, but I'm not sure I'd want to work at it all day long. So, if you're looking for a basic chair to work at a high desk, this might fit your needs.

Decent chair
Assembled easily and has everything you need to put it together in the package. It’s a tall chair, so be sure to measure your table/counter/workbench to be sure this will suit your needs. I wish the seat were a bit thicker, it’s not quite as comfy as I’d thought after a few hours but at this price it’s a decent chair. I just threw a gel seat pad on it and problem solved. Sturdy and will hold up well for our teenagers to use at their workbench.

Nice quality chair, but really high and maybe for larger people
This was a nice quality chair, but it is super high and possibly made for taller people. I mean this thing floats high in the "sky" at its tallest level. It almost like it's made for an NBA basketball player. I guess that's why you need the footrest. I also wish the backrest could adjust; you feel like you are sitting too forward and about to fall off. I would expect that the armrests would eventually fall off for all the times you will use them to prop yourself up on this high chair. I also did not enjoy putting this together too much with the L hex wrench provided, but with the help of power tools, or a screwdriver with the right hex head, the job was done much faster. I give this 5 stars for quality, but 3-4 for the lack of adjustable features.

Great as a DRAFTING chair, Noted, it is counter height.
So far I really like this Drafting Chair by Amazon Basics. I do think the description on the page needs to state more clearly that it is not a regular Office Desk Chair Height. I noticed a few reviews stating this as a negative, and it’s actually just what it’s supposed to be. I actually didn’t get this chair to work with a drafting table, I paint, and I got it to work on a horizontal easel to work on large pieces, especially watercolors. And to work on a large counter height table. What I like about it: • The seat is thick and very comfortable, I could sit on it for hours with no discomfort. • There is a lumbar function that feels wonderful, but I doubt I’ll be sitting all the way back very often, but it’s a great feature, and who knows, I might use it. • While sitting this tall you need a foot rest, this foot rest is sturdy and not wobbly at all. • The arms slide up, it makes it easy to just slide the chair under the desk when you aren’t using it, it also makes it easy to slide up closer to the desk to reach things. • There are left and right arms, I love this, so many chairs have arms that are the same, they simply aren’t as comfortable. • The back of the chair does not more. It is straight up. People who draft or do crafts normally like this, if you don’t be aware.. • It’s easy to adjust the height, but you cannot go far enough down to go to a regular height desk. However, this would work nice at a standing desk. • My husband told me that it’s very easy to assemble. What I don’t like about it: • The wheels don’t lock. I would like it if they did so I could use this to work on a standing easel. When I used to work on a drafting easel I would have liked it too, because I often worked standing and just leaned on the stool to take the weight off. I’ll figure something out, probably just replace the wheels. I wanted to get this review out as soon as possibe because of the misunderstanding so many people seem to be having, I’ll load up a photo as soon as I can get out to my studio it’s been raining very hard for the last few days. Overall, this is a very nice chair for a DRAFTING desk.
