You CAN buy a replacement cover for this bed...
This is a great dog bed. The cover is durable and the cushion is nice and thick. The cover washes well and the zippers have held up nicely. I bought a medium and while it is an inch bigger than the very similar Pet Fusion bed, the Pet Fusion replacement cover fits just fine. In comparison to the Pet Fusion, the foam is a bit more "squishable" (still plenty firm)- this is why the cover fits. All things considered, the Pet Fusion is a bit nicer only because the foam is slightly firmer. When I bought this Amazon Basics bed the price was half off... totally worth the cost savings!

Take your chances
I'm sure it's a great bed, if you get a quality piece of foam. I did not read many reviews before purchasing, just looked at overall rating. I don't like to trash products, but I like to be fair. The issue that I experienced, and that others have, as well...after reading lower star reviews: the foam piece arrieved rolled up, and you are to unwrap and allow 48 hours for piece to restore it's shape/expand. Maybe 1/3 of an end was never compressed much, and was a lovely, plush, comfortable foam. Various sections were highly compacted, however, and never expanded after a week. I tried to work the foam a bit, put it in warm areas of the home, step and walk on foam to get it to release, but it was highly compacted, and simply unusable and unacceptable. Again, I'm sure if you get a good piece of foam, it would be a great bed, but I simply requested a refund. There was no option to contact seller, or work with some sort of exchange, etc. Just simply refund/return option. I did not opt to try my luck with a 2nd bed, as so many others experienced this issue. I hope the manufacturer can improve either the packaging process or the manufacturing technique, so that this could be avoided in future runs.

Best dog bed money can buy
I've gone through 8 dog beds in recent years. I tried the thick fluffy kind, the thin indestructible canvas type, the elevated hammock kind, and the thin crate mat kind. Each time I spend a little more and learn a new lesson on what to avoid and what to look for. The 2 most important things for me are durability and comfort. Good quality foam is what solves both problems at the same time. Beds filled with polyfil or any other "fluff" may be soft and squishy, but it will get clumped into the corners and the middle will be empty. This makes dogs dig/scratch holes in the bed while trying to get comfy. I learned this the hard way $20-50 at a time by making sacrifices to save money. This bed is the culmination of those lessons learned This bed is very durable and that's my first focus. My dog has gradually ruined almost every bed cover trying to fluff it up before I learned to stop wasting money on stuffed beds. The cover on this bed is well stitched, the zipper works well, and the material is very strong. I've tried more durable beds, but my dog didn't like them and wouldn't lay on them because they were thin and filled with fluff. This bed is really comfy and really durable. My dog chooses this bed over the couch, recliner, and both of his other beds that have survived. I can't offer a stronger endorsement on this bed's comfort than he can. This bed has good quality foam in the pillow ring around it and very thick foam in the bottom. This thick supportive foam is what keeps him from scratching to fluff up the bed. He just spins a couple of times and plops down. So the comfort actually lends to the durability too. My dog is 105 lbs and cannot bottom-out this foam. In fact, I've laid on this bed with him and didn't bottom-out the foam either. This is EXTREMELY high quality foam and when my dog finally wears out either of his other beds, this will be the one I replace them with.

Cover sheet rips easily
The cover rips easily and they don’t sell by itself. But my dog seems to enjoy the bed. I bought this dog’s bed in 2019 and they were selling it for $35.84. Now I waned to buy another one for my new puppy but they are selling it for $65. That’s crazy! Not worthy it.

I bought the Medium (36X29x9) for my Boston Terrier (he’s about 35 lbs) and he likes it. There’s plenty of room for him and his toys. He still has a fixation with his old bed so he doesn’t always sleep in it. But we use it when he sleeps in our room and he sleeps just fine it.

EXACTLY what I was looking for
Bought the 25” wide bed for my cocker spaniels. They are around 27# and the one is much taller and longer than any other cocker spaniel I’ve ever had. If your pet likes to spread out or likes toys or blankets to sleep with, I’d get the next size up. Very easy to assemble, it took under 10 minutes. What I like: - Comes with a cover for the foam bedding. I’m sure it’s water resistant. Haven’t tested it yet. - The bolster is one single piece completely enclosed in fabric and removable when washing the cover. THIS is a big deal for me. There is weekly washings of all things pet related when you have two senior dogs and three long haired cats. These cats will do as they like as it seems this is their house and we are merely servants. - The price is right. Under $45 for a completely washable cover with a removable bolster is what I call a good deal. What I’m unsure of: - The water resistant cover for the foam pad is great but the zipper is kind of flimsy. It’s not difficult to remove the foam pad but I know after several washings it will either rip or the zipper will come apart. I would advise still inserting a changing pad liner (15 x 28 should fit the medium sized bed). That way if there is an accident, you wash the cover and the changing pad liner and wipe down the water resistant cover. What I wish it had: - A non-skid bottom. I have small rugs so it’s not a big deal for me but FYI for you all. - More colors to choose from. This is just totally me. I like a little color. Hope this review helps you. With all this said, I will order the larger size. I have two other beds to replace. Depending on which they prefer, I will order another of that.

Loving it for my two frenchies
I wanted something that all parts could be washed cause my frenchies can be messy The bottom foam and the bolster around the outside edge are all removable then I just toss the giver into the washer and low setting to dry I even sat in it myself to see if it gave them enough cushion when on a hard floor and it does So far it’s holding up nicely

My elderly dog loves her new bed
Bought for my 17-18 year old terrier Betty. She absolutely loves it. I was really pleased with the quality of the bed and the cover. The memory foam insert plumped up evenly and in a few hours. Within an hour Betty was lay in it. I wish Amazon would do some spare covers for it though as would be useful to have one to put on while the other was in the wash. I have tried putting a blanket in it but she just pushes it out. But still is the best dog bed I’ve purchased. I know she won’t be with us forever but it’s been worth every penny seeing her snoozing comfortably and contentedly. I purchased the small size and it’s perfect for her size.

ordered two of these for my dogs. small one ok for my scottie and i ordered medium for dalmatian, as you can see medium is pretty huge. Other than the size both beds look good and seem comfortable but dogs still like to sleep on the sofas!!

A great bed at a great price.
This bed is excellent value, it is nice and thick (about 10 cm), plenty big enough for our big 90 lbs greyhound and his long legs, and it is very soft and comfortable. It is also is big enough to fit him and his favourite toys too! The base is memory foam, so he settled into it nicely, and it bounces back into shape after a hard day spent snoozing around on it from all angles. The sides that wrap around to form partial front sides with an opening in the middle is perfect because he often loves to lounge on his back through the front opening, while at other times, the partial front sides help the bed to stay in shape if he's leaning over the rear side looking out of the window looking for squirrels. We searched high and low to find the right bed for our boy. We tried the pet warehouses, Costco, and even Ikea who by the way, advertise beds they sell pets online but to our dismay found that they do not carry them in stock in store. Then we found this Amazon Basics bed which seemed to fit the bill perfectly, but we were a little wary of the word 'basics' in the product title. We didn't want a basic bed, we wanted a very comfortable and hard-wearing one. When it arrived we were VERY pleasantly surprised at the quality of the bed, and how soft and comfy it is. My wife and I wouldn't complain one bit if our own bed were topped with a mattress cover made from the same foam quality, thickness and density that the dog bed is made from. Be warned, when you first get the dog-bed, and fit the foam into the base, it has been particularly compressed over a long period for shipping purposes. Once the foam has been opened up and unfurled, give it about half a day to recover and it will then be fluffed back up to its natural full height ready for use. We left our foam base zipped into the dog bed while it was re-expanding, and that worked perfectly. As you can see in the picture, our boy loves his new bed. BTW. To keep this bed, or any pet bed clean, we advise using a soft blanket throw over the top. This doesn't mean the bed cannot be used without one. But it does make life much easier to clean a soft blanket throw in the washing machine once a week, especially after he's chomped a few of his doggie treats all over it once or twice a day. This is just common sense. This is also a VERY highly recommended product!

El colchón de espuma viscoelástica no recupera su forma
A favor: su diseño, la funda interna impermeable para el colchón, funda externa cómoda de poner y quitar para lavar. Buen concepto en general. Apetecible para mi mascota. En contra: las instrucciones dicen que se espere 48 horas para que el colchón de espuma viscoelástica recupere su forma. Efectivamente, el colchón viene enrollado y completamente comprimido. Después de tres días, el colchón no ha recuperado su forma y dudo que lo llegue a hacer. El problema es que hay zonas que han quedado tan aplastadas y arrugadas que han perdido su capacidad elástica y otras más abultadas que mantienen cierta elasticidad. El colchón da pena, como se puede apreciar en las fotos. Así, el colchón deja de ser realmente cómodo para mi mascota. Lo devolveré.

Quality, practical & looks very comfortable.
I can honestly say I am impressed with this, we have a large 38kg golden retriever that agrees, unfortunately for him the cat does too! The memory foam is thick with a waterproof cover, the outer cover and zips seem to be good quality too.
