How much is your time worth?

Before you buy this ask how much your time is worth. I'm experience with home remodeling, so installing this should be a 5-10 minute job, it tool me over 40 minutes. For starters one of the anchors was warped and had no hole for the screw. So once I got it in I had to drill a pilot hole for the screw. Then to get the Barnes snapped on you have to unscrew the set screws nearly entirely. Not too bad when it is off the wall, but screwing these back down took forever, I actually stopped twice out of frustration and also to get blood flowing back into my arms. To put this in context prior to this I installed a coat rack in about 2 minutes. The frustration alone means I'll never purchase this again. That said the overall look is fine, it seems sturdy enough, but also the anchors are such poor quality you can easily pull them out of the wall. So if you have kids who just yank the towels off the rack, this will be pulled off the wall in short order. Save yourself the frustration, buy something better, u less you don't mind losing 30 minutes of your life to save $10. Then by all means get this and waste your time. Also I used the guide they sent, it was fine.

Very Sturdy

I am surprised how thick and sturdy this towel bar is. The gage and weight of the metal is more than I expected, and much heavier and thicker then the bar I replaced.

Please go back to screws instead of hex key

This is my second time purchasing this towel bar. I love the look and loved the ease of installation.. to my surprise, they updated and have decided to use hex key to attach the bar to the small metal plates on the wall. That was really annoying and my only complaint

Good quality

Good looking towel bar that was easy to install. I particularly liked the measuring sheet included so I could mark the wall exactly where the brackets should go to insure perfect installation. That was super easy. Amazingly I was able to install both brackets using only my pocket multi-tool which saved me getting out other tools. My Victorinox tool is a bit bulky to carry around given all the tools included, but way worth it when a project like this comes up. I could mark the hole locations through the provided measuring sheet, 'drill' them into the drywall to install the screw anchors, screw in the philips head screws, and then attach the outer bracket with the towel bar and tighten the tiny screws that hold them in place. I prefer to attach the outer brackets with the little tighteners facing up since it makes later repair or replacement much easier and these are barely noticeable. The outer brackets can be installed either up or down as is your preference. The inserted bar fits securely with no wiggling and looks stylish. Very pleased with this purchase.

Love the look

This product was easy to install and looks great, it feels sturdy and was definitely worth the price. My only issue which isn't so much the product itself but I had bought it with the toilet roll holder and the mounting peice are different sizes not the end of the world but would like the symmerty between them, otherwise great product.
