good cord
nice color, good cord. outer core is stiffer than most cord I've worked with which comes in handy in certain applications

It's not bad it's not great - will it hold up?
I am not exactly putting this to the test. I bought it to tie down a cover over a car. Its working okay. It's pretty easy to tie off. No idea if it will last in the sunlight. Hopefully there will not be a lot of moss form on it in the rainy winter in PNW. It's Kind of hard to cut which is probably good. While burning the ends it doesn't really burn the cut off well. Instead the end catches fire then drips. Seems like in the past the other cords I have purchased burn easier. But that could be due to different material used. So for the money it's not bad. I do not regret the purchase. It's just one of those ordinary things.

Working well
I'm using this as a dog leash. A 100' dog leash for my Siberian husky so she can run but not run away. It has held up to her full out sprint. Cost....well I found it cheaper at the hardware store

Notice how thin it is, also Paracord type
When purchasing, had I noticed how thin this rope is, I would have picked a different item. It is paracord type, meaning that the rope has an outside skin that is not fixed to the core. (Some people like this, maybe climbers, and others don't.) The purpose for me was to tie down furniture blankets for putting into a moving container. So it was sufficient. A bigger problem is how difficult it was to unravel and how often it would kink up. There is an orientation to the rope and it is not as forgiving as other rope I've used in the past. I recommend picking a different rope, depending on your purposes.

all purpose rope/twine.
I keep a variety of ropes and twines in my shop. This is a very versatile product with many uses. It will fray, so I tie the ends, then there should be no problems with the product.

Good strong cord
Good strong cord not only in tensile strength, but also when binding against rough surfaces. Like any cord, rubbing will wear through, but this para cord has a little more abrasion resistance, which can be critical if there is even the slightest movement of the cord against material. It is easy to tie and if the knot is right, easy to undo. The inner core consists of 7 multi stranded cords. There is no metal strand through this cord as there is on some of the other ‘survivalist’ types you can get. If cutting the cord, you will need to touch the end to a flame to prevent fraying – and fray this does. When using a match alone, I found that the inner core had a slightly higher melting point to the outer sheathing, so the ends were a little fiddly to meld together. The trick was to pull the outer sheath back, start heating the core and either let is melt down to the outer sheath or pull the outer sheath forward when inner core is melting. Get it right and it fuses together nicely. Every household, camping trip, holiday etc should have a spool of paracord to hand. The uses are many, the only restriction is your imagination.

Very good thin rope - not just for parachutes!
When I saw this paracord, my initial thoughts were parachuting, though personally I have no use for that. However, the point is that 550 type-III paracord is the rope originally used in parachutes. This means this stuff is strong and people's lives would have depended on it. Indeed, this is labelled as 7-strand nylon core, with a minimum strength of 250kg. I've used this rope, in conjunction with a couple of pulleys to hoist up a wooden frame used to hang drying, and it seems to cope fine. The rope/chord itself is fairly smooth so doesn't snag on the pulley, and in terms of strength, seems to hold up ok. I'll keep an eye on this over time though. Assuming this is reasonably priced, then I have no problems with recommending this.

Good quality paracord
I have tried this paracord to hang a ridge line when I go wild camping, The cord has held up very well, it has not stretched or frayed in use. As you can see from my photo this has the inner strands like normal paracord and when held under a lighter it melts together just like my usual brand. I cannot say how much weight this stuff will take but it feels exactly like some of the more expensive stuff I have used in the past. for utility cord for camping or for making bracelets with I think this will work just fine. please hit the helpful tab if this was of any use to you, many thanks.
