Nice chair for the price

Assembly was easy, if you don’t over tighten things it folds up very easily. Ordered one just to see how things went, I will be ordering a second. Only wish it had a cup holder of some kind.

it arrived earlier than expected and even though I did not put it together in 15 minutes like one other customer at 75, I'm happy I was able to put it together in 45 minutes - fits the bill perfectly and I hope the paint holds up

Second chair to go with the first chair and table

This was a gift for my daughter! Clear instructions! Everything included! She loves it! I helped her put it together!! Sitting on her balcony porch! Unfortunately the second chair (two chairs and a table between?!) didn't have all the parts that were needed to assemble (no washers!) Customer support wanted me to to return the single chair even though box had been opened and the chair was partially put together? Really? Can't just send the washers? Just bought some nylon washers instead...really??

Broken seat immediately

Seat slat broke through immediately after I (almost) put my weight down in it. For reference I weigh 135lbs… so it’s incredibly flimsy. A bummer as it takes a minute to assemble as well. I cannot state this enough, it is incredibly flimsy.

Amazon Aware Acacia Wood Outdoor Folding Adirondack Chair, Dark Grey

My wife made two Adirondack chairs several years ago from pine and painted them and they were nice to sit in our back yard patio. Since that time we’ve upgraded to the poly Adirondack chairs which are durable, water resistant and don’t need painting. This chair, made in Vietnam from Acacia wood, is painted a matte gray and looks nice, is smaller than our other Adirondack chairs, but is comfortable and can be folded down to save space or store for the winter. My chair arrived with one seat slat detached and I was able to back out the screws and re-screw it back into the frame. Still, that’s a bad sign and it may come loose again down the road as the holes are now larger than original. Assembly took about an hour and it helped using my own T-handle Allen wrench set in metric sizes. The instructions were “just OK”. The order of assembly at certain points was uncertain and it would have helped for it to be clearer. It all went together well enough, I guess. One armrest dropped and got damaged on two leading edges while I was trying to slide a plastic washer in between the armrest and the upright, while putting a bolt from one side and a round nut from the other side. Very tricky to do that is. I’m not sure what to think about the chains that hang down to hold the removable pegs so you can fold it. They seem stiff and unwieldy. I wish they were a little more flexible, or a cable, but they work. This is a nice addition to our patio and I’m glad I found it. It will be nice to have when guests come over. We’ll be leaving it out all year except for the winter. This is OK for the price if it lasts for a few years. Otherwise, spending more $$ will get you a larger, more durable poly one, but it doesn’t fold up. Recommended!

The perfect chair.

I am head over heels with this solid acacia adirondack chair. It's absolutely gorgeous and was SO easy to set up. It came with all tools needed, I had no difficulty following the simple directions included. It took me only 15 minutes to assemble, and I'm SO happy with how it turned out. I got this chair for sitting with my dog at her favorite spot under a tree by a pond. There is a sloped bank, but the legs of this chair do a good job of digging into the bank and keeping me steady and stable. The locking mechanisms that hold the legs straight are strong and solid wood. The whole chair is solid wood. The screws are hefty and solid feeling and all joints are sturdy and well put together; I have no worries about this chair falling apart even with significant aging and weather. Pros: - Very easy to set up - Solid wood - Quality materials - Extremely sturdy - Beautiful finish that's weather resistant - Great on a sloped or uneven surface Cons: - I can't find any so far Once again, Amazon Aware has delivered an extremely high quality product at an impressively low price. This chair is absolutely perfect and well worth the low asking price. 5/5 stars, I highly recommend and hope this review and my pictures were helpful.
