Nice looking and sturdy

These are heavy and sturdy. The box they came in was 40lbs and can tell they are well put together. I luckily didn't have and dents or damaged dishes as I saw a few reviewers had. A few did stick together but we found pulling and wiggling the plastic wrap each one is encased in freed them easily. I did Amazon's free 3 month payment plan so the upfront cost of $150 was easier to bare. I would recommend these, wish they were a little cheaper priced but I understand the cost too.

I'm very happy!!

Very Happy with my purchase. I ordered on the 22nd and received today the 25th. I was really worried after reading all the reviews about dents and the lids sticking together. Mine were fine except for 2 water pans that were on the very bottom of the box. They had small dents on the corner and were stuck together. With some careful prying, I was able to get them apart without any damage. I put them all together to make sure everything was level and I think they are going to work fine for my daughters upcoming wedding.

Good craftsmanship. Used for several parties

We ordered 2 sets of these chafing dishes (8 total), to be able to do some catering on rare occasions. We also use 2-3 units at a time, a couple of times per month when 10 friends come hang out on a weekend. These things do just what you expect them to do. The legs fold-up for storage. You MUST lock the long tray under each chafing dish, or there is a good chance that a chafing dish will DROP on one side, when someone is wiggling the pan to get food out. I would respect if someone does not like the DESIGN of hooking-in a little tab, onto each leg under the chafing dish. However, that is how the units work. I personally, like the design. Over the months, if someone else is helping out and sets up any chafing dish to help me out - I always, always check to make sure that the tray is properly hooked-in with the support legs. The actual chafing dishes, and the overall pan are very decent quality. I have no complaints about any of the 8 units that I purchased, and would recommend these to anyone. They are just what I expected, and are rather classy and good for a formal event (we will use for a $45/person wedding in a few months).

Great product

I first ordered a used set but it had some burn marks. Probably the user before me (and many users who gave a one star rating) set the product up the wrong way. The shallow tray used for food was burnt which means they used that tray to hold the water and burnt it instead of using the deeper tray, and probably turned the candles on without filling it with water first. The second set I ordered was brand new and functioned exactly as intended. The edges might be sharp as other pointed out but wont cut you on touch unless you rub you accidentally fingers on them. Some pointed that the holding legs are flimsy but if you actually attach the candle holding tray at the bottom it will act like a scaffold and make the unit very sturdy. I used a small piece of styrofoam board between the deep trays for storage so they would be easier to separate for future use. Overall this product is high quality and at a bargain price.

looks like they would be keepers

Two looks good. Two were stuck together. When trying to get apart, I noticed it has a dent on the side that 's why it won't come apart. After putting inside the box to be returned, I noticed the box were ripped outside - the exact area that correlates where the dent is at. Hmmm...so not the sellers fault but the delivery guy. I am going to give this seller another chance because the quality seems ok for this price.

Why no candles?

Legit, this product was easy to put together and great quality. Worth the money. But we didn’t know it didn’t come with the candles or whatever is needed to keep the food hot. That was such a huge disappointment. Anyhow, will be better prepared. These are excellent for parties or small events! They hold a LOT of food so don’t need to worry.

I bought this item to use at a baby shower and was pleased….they are sturdy, nice looking and easy to assemble. Will definitely recommend these chafing dishes.

Worked well for us

We just hosted the staff Christmas party for 22 people and used the chafing dishes for the first time. They worked well and were a bit bigger than we thought. It takes a lot of food to fill a dish. For instance a big 2 Kg bag of mixed veggies filled the pan with some space to spare. We bought the red fuel cans (good for 6 hours) from Amazon as well and we had to minimize to only one fuel can/chafing dish. It kept the dishes too hot and actually overcooked our veggies. Lesson learned along the way. One caution though, we store the chafing dishes as a set as they were really hard to take appart in the beginning. The pans fit a bit too snug together. Would recommend

Ma première commande déclarée livrée, n'a jamais été reçue. Cette commande de remplacement est conforme à la description. C'est exactement ce que je recherchais. Il est difficile de séparer les grands bacs, au risque de se couper puisque les bords sont tranchants. Optez pour la technique eau glacée dans le bac d'en haut et bac d'en bas dans l'eu chaude. La séparation est ainsi facilitée. Je réserve une étoile pour lorsque je les testerais.

Great item but can’t get the 4 water pans apart

I used them already for an event and they were great. Only issue I had was getting the 4 trays apart that hold the water. They each had plastic between them and were suctioned/ compressed tightly together. Tried everything till I had to get a neighbour to help me use a towel between each grove and both of us pry them open. Stressed me out. But bought 2 more boxes a week later and same thing, but once I figured that issue out they have been great!

High quality chafing dishes and pans. Used to cater a company BBQ. Lots of comments about how professional they were. Kept the food warm more than 6 hours.
