Not made in USA

Unfortunately I had ordered this thermometer partly because according to description the country of origin was USA but package clearly states made in PRC (Peoples Rublic of China). Big disappointment.

Seems to work

I have a mr. coffee espresso machine and I kept failing at frothing the milk. The instructions say to froth for 2 minutes, but the milk kept boiling and going flat. I used this and it turns out that the milk gets overheated pretty quickly with this machine. It helped me save the milk and actually make some foam.

TERRIBLE RECTAL THERMOMETER

Great product

This was a replacement of a smaller gauge from a different brand. This one is sturdy and doesn't get water in the gauge. The last one, the arm just broke off inside the gauge. How does that even happen? Happy with this purchase.

Not the greatest

Thermometer wasnt so good after a few week, I did the calibration on the manual but overall not really happy with it. The nut on the back was hard to use to calibrate and it wasnt great testing milk.

Collects vapor under glass making it tough to read the temperature

It seems accurate, though like many of these thermometers, once you use them just a few times, the glass gets covered in vapor (inside the glass) so it is not easy to read the temperature. I was looking for a digital thermometer and couldn't find one when I bought this one. I should have looked harder for a digital thermometer.

Good thermometer, ok construction

Works and is accurate. The clip likes to bend easily. Condensation under the glass almost immediately from hand washing… but it dissipated because it doesn’t have a good seal. Not a great “feature” for a thermometer costing almost $20.

Works a treat, easy to clean

Works well for steaming milk, easy to read. It cleans up with a quick rinse of the probe under running water. No complaints, would recommend.
