Love the purse

Nice purse. It's a little stiff but I'm sure it will soften with continued use. The color is a odd tan. Almost seems to have a little pink in it.

Lovely style, but needs to be aired out

I usually buy higher end purses, but I loved the look of the Aldo Airy. The scarf tied around the handle goes with the pinkish tan color of the bag really well and is a beautiful touch. The rose gold metal complements it nicely. From a distance, it can pass as upscale. I missed that this bag is made of synthetic materials, rather than real leather. But, the quilting has a buttery soft feel and the rest is smooth and soft. The scarf feels silky, although not as fine as real silk. The stitching looks nicely done. I like that it can be carried by the handle or using the strap that is included. I would have liked the strap to be a bit shorter. I am 5'5", and I can wear it messenger bag style with the strap shortened as much as possible. Over the shoulder, it sits a bit below my hips. In taking photos, I noticed there is a slight flaw inside the flap of the purse. It is kinda a long run down the material, but it's only noticeable in bright lighting or if I am looking for it. The buckle has a great twist closure, but this has already scratched up the metal a bit. Again, not very noticeable, but things that speak to quality. The rest of the bag seems very durable. When I first opened the bag, it reeked. It took a few days for the smell to air out. I put it out on the patio for a couple of days, put a charcoal fridge deodorizer inside and used Febreeze on it three times. Now, it smells more like new leather. The issue was just with the interior. Overall, this bag offers a lot of style for the price. I would recommend it, but maybe not as a gift because of the initial smell.

Nice Scarf for the bag

The overall is cute, but the bag is not as high end as the other Aldo Bag. The scarf of the bag actually makes the bag look cuter. It is a good medium size bag for daily or for night out.

Stylish, well made handbag - LOVE

The handbag is beautiful. I ordered the wine/merlot color and it is a perfect fall accessory. The sash that is attached to the handle adds a dressier component and adds another layer of protection for the handle. I tried to see if the sash is removable but where it's knotted, it appears to have a stitch to keep it in place and to hold its shape. I am sure you could remove it if that was your preference. The handbag is very soft to touch, feels like leather and the front has a quilted pattern. The clasp on the front fits into the slot and turns to add an additional layer of security for inside items. I love the sturdy base because when I have the purse filled up and I set it down, it stays upright. The interior has a zipper pocket - it is a little snug. and on the opposite side there are two small open pockets, also snug. The inside is roomier than I thought it would be. I am able to put some cosmetic items, wallet, sunglass case, gum packet, checkbook, and a small notebook! I've attached pictures. Overall, I really am very pleased with this handbag and my 3 girls (aged 21, 15 and 12) all LOVED it and wanted to claim it. IF you have any questions about the product, I'd be more than happy to try and answer! I have just received this yesterday and began using it today. I will update in a few months regarding how well it held up!

Really cute purse that actually holds everything I need

This bag is awesome! It's not too big and clunky, yet it holds everything I could need for an outing. It's very stylish and goes well with many outfits. The scarf adds a nice extra touch. The bag feels well constructed and durable. No raw edges or loose stitching. Definitely a good bag to have for easy accessorizing. Looks nice but doesn't have the hefty price tag that comes with quality items.
