A just right bag.

A very nice and useful bag. Much nicer than the price point would indicate. Soft leather, roomy without being overly large.

Perfect size for shlepping around my stuff - paper files

Second one! Perfect size for shlepping around my stuff - paper files, etc. Some use a brief case, I use this Piel Leather Small Shopping Bag. The zipper is priceless! Nice to know everything will be contained if it slips off your shoulder. And the shoulder straps are long enough, even with my big winter coat. Still using the first one, but the piping around the edges (not leather) has worn through and the blue plastic filler (inside the piping) is exposed and looks messy. The rest of the bag is holding up very well considering I've used it daily for the past two years. The inside lining is light in color (not black or dark) so when I open my bag day/night, I can still see the stuff inside. Get one....you won't be disappointed. Piel, please do NOT discontinue this bag. It is the best one out there!

I have been searching for over a year and finally found the best leather tote ever. With four exterior pockets and two interior zippers, plus cell phone holder, it facilitates an organized plan for stashing and retrieving all the essentials. It's tall and wide enough to fit a legal sized folder, an ipad, or a macbook air. Although it has no metal feet, the leather piping around the bottom provides a stiff foundation, allowing this beautiful piece of classic work to stand upright and at full attention. Finally, a tote bag with simple, elegant, long straps that easily slip over the shoulder, without the awkward elbow snagging obstacle, which would have been an instant deal breaker in my book. Perfection!

Holds 13 inch mac book air and more!

This is one of the few bags besides my Coach bags that I can say I will own forever. It is made from quality leather and holds my 13 inch mac book air, iPad, 2 iPhones wallet and other items. I've used saddle soap to clean it. This bag has been with me now to various countries as my "carry on". Updated 7/15/16. I bought a second one in Saddle color. These are excellent bags. I also bought and returned 2 other colors, chocolate and black. The black wasn't black enough and was similar to the chocolate. Both were nice but this saddle color is the classiest in my opinion

Nice Leather but not for me ....

I wanted to love this purse but, unfortunately, the zipper on top would stick and it was nearly impossible to unzip. I returned it and ordered the LeDonne Garrowby Tote instead with the magnetic closure - I know I will like that much better ....

Wonderful bag!

I am so happy I chose the Small bag as it is the perfect size. It holds everything currently in my handbag plus there is room for my Kindle and more for travel. I am especially delighted with the little private top zippered compartment where I can place my keys, credit cards, or cash. The leather is soft and the handles fit perfectly around my shoulder. Couldn't be happier!

Love, love, love this bag

As I read all the reviews I decided this is the one I must try. I was not disappointed. It is perfect for my service bag. It holds all my necessities and room for more if needed. It also is much lighter than my previous bag. My only "complaint" would be about the outside pockets. It would have been nice if they were gussetted. I know I will have this for years to come. I get many compliments on the look of the bag-I guess cuz it's beautiful!

Beautiful, well made bag

An absolutely beautiful bag, but too large for my daily needs. Very well made. I hated to return it. If I were still in need of an everyday laptop/bookbag/briefcase it would be the perfect thing but I left that lifestyle behind several years ago. I will look and see if this company has something slightly smaller.
