Very comfortable, a little thin but flexible
The most comfortable boots ive ever used, mostly due to how much the leather will stretch and conform. I mostly wear the sketchers "middle aged dad" wide fit shoes that are well known for being pretty close to slippers comfort but also have to wear steel toes for work so I have good comparison points. These are very close to the sketchers, not quite, but enough that more often than not I end up wearing these instead as they are still super comfortable. I normally wear a 12 wide, so I bought a 12 regular expecting it to stretch and it in fact was very narrow and tight at first. The third use it felt great, the 5th time (after having walked about a mile in total in them) they were broken in. After wearing about 50 times now I can say that I love these and they fit me nearly perfect. The laces provided are too short for the number of eyelets in my opinion so I dont tie the top 2 rows (or maybe my feet are actually too wide) and the toe was longer than expected. These are not shiny, a matte black so they dont stand out too much, but nice enough to use as casual dress shoes. However due to the lower shine they are super easy to clean and dont show scratches as much, fairly durable so far. If there are scraches or cracks on mine I havent found them yet. Perfect for lots of walking, has a similar spring and cushon in your step comparable to name brand crocs, but you know way more comfortable. Warm enough for mild cold with thick socks which even fit with me despite how tight they were, but not too hot with thin sport socks even in the summer. Sure they arent gonna handle snow and ice that well but for Louisiana winters they are perfect, however I wear mine year around even in summer, they are just that good.

Stylish and comfy
I’m not a huge boot person, but I always wanted a Dr. Martins. I’m glad i finally got me a pair. I think I lucked out on the size, I picked size 9 in mens, and they fit perfectly. I wear a mens size 9 in adidas so I’d say they are pretty close in comparison. Ive gotten quite a few compliments, and overall I’m very happy with the purchase. They are surprisingly more comfortable than I expected, I’ve been wearing them daily and walking in them doesn’t hurt my feel like other boots would. The laces do not stretch at all, so just make sure you completely loosen the boot before putting your foot in, otherwise the top of your foot will get pinched.

Great buy
If you wear a 7 1/2 like me order 7 . I ordered these for my son and he is a 10 1/2 so the size 10 fit perfect. Dr Marten shoes are well made and I’ve never had a problem. I put gel inserts to wear them longer and would always recommend them.

If you wear a half size go up not down.
I bought a pair and sized down bc the ad said the run of lg. Had to return and size up. Besides that i love love love them. Cute with jeans, skirts, skorts and yoga pants. Love them

Cool style, but..
Because it's unisex, I believe, had to do with extra weight and general clunkiness of the boot. The main positive for me ( i suffer from severe pronation) is excellent arch support. At least I can say it hits me in the right spot! Hope this info helps!

Don’t use Amazon size guide…
As you may of read, these run large if purchase based upon your normal shoe size. Do yourself a favor… go to Dr. Martens web site and use their size guide, it will save you the time of dropping them off at Kohls or UPS to return. Example: Amazons size guide states I should grabbed size 10, where it’s 27.6cm or 10.86” … no no, the actual of the boot for size 10 via DMs site is 11.34” or 28.8cm… now you ask, “what?” Yeah, size 9 is 11.03” or 28.02cm on DMs site, which is more in line with what size 10 is on Amazon’s size guide. Tl;dr. Docs don’t do half sizes, know your true foot length in cm or mm and order correctly. (Size down for most)

Great Buy
Absolutely great buy in all aspects - style, material, comfort, quality & great fit. I had been looking for a replacement pair of DM for a number of years & was quite clear in my mind what style/colour I wanted but never the ones I wanted. These though are what I wanted & the main attraction for me is the colour & leather appearance . Although £150+ they really are value for money & are a must-wear footwear. Extremely comfortable too & are often worn all day into the evening. You will not be disappointed - buy them.
