Great Balance of Fashion and Function
I read all the advice... I knew that a gaming/racing style chair wasn't going to be as comfortable or supportive as an expensive, ergonomic office chair. But I wanted a chair that looked cool, too, though not so flashy that it drew laughs from my coworkers when doing video chats. The chair arrived in a big ol' box that was packed very well. Despite this, the latch that allows you to adjust the height of the left arm was broken off and loose in the bag. Due to how the chair was packed, it seemed obvious that this happened at their facility rather than in transit. I contacted customer support and had a great and easy experience, and they promised to send a new arm assembly immediately. The arm took a while to arrive, but that may have been related to COVID's impact on the shipping industry more than anything. Nonetheless, I could use the chair immediately and happily did so. I had been having back and neck pain from using an old, cheap office chair that was being thrown out at my wife's previous job, but I'm also someone who is known for slouching so far down in my chair that I'm practically sitting on my middle back, so the pain wasn't really a surprise or anything. I can't speak for other racing chairs, but this one really doesn't lend itself to slouching, which is GREAT. If you slouch you'll likely slide right off the front of the chair, so you're forced to sit with your back fully up against the backrest. I couldn't find a comfortable position for the included lumbar support pillow, so I quickly discarded that and have been much happier for it. It took a bit of time to find the right angle and rocking tension adjustment, but now that I've found it my back and neck are feeling much better! The imitation leather has held up very well so far with no tears, sagging, or discoloration. The foam of the seat cushion doesn't seem to be misshapen from my 5'10" 170lb butt being on it most of the day and is just as comfortable now as it was when I got it. I will admit, though, that the much cheaper chair my wife purchased from Staples is more cushy and comfortable than this one, but I figured that'd be the case going in. If you're looking for a decent racing style gaming chair, I would say this is towards the middle-low end of what you should consider. I'm happy with it for the price I paid, which is quite a bit lower than it is as of the time of writing this review.

Looked at many chairs, and because my desk is higher than normal gaming desks I researched a chair which could go a little higher than normal. Specs on the AKRacing site spec this chair at 17-20.5 inches of adjustable range from floor to bottom of seat. Perfect! Except those are inaccurate. After receiving my first one, where a mounting hole inside the seat was completely gone / broken, I ordered a replacement. PITA to return, but fine. Because I couldn't even set up the original, I never got to check the height. New one, assembled and... what? This thing sits low... 14" off the floor. Raised I get to 16"s... still far from the quoted range. I contacted support via email, and that's a slow process. I told them either the strut was the wrong thickness (it goes a full 3.5"s past the wheelbase, almost touching the floor, and it it were thicker it wouldn't travel quite as far and possibly explain the height discrepancy. OR the shock / strut wasn't long enough. Without asking for further info, they sent me a new base, shock and bottom chair mount. That was actually nice, and the ONLY reason I'm not going to 1 star... because someone tired. Same result, though. The chair clearly, as shipped, could never go to 17-20 as advertised. So either someone changed specs along the way or its just a complete typo (the other chairs all have lower height ranges). Anyway, do NOT get this chair if you one of those rare people choosing it for a taller height. The overall chair is nice... I have carbon, and it certainly looks great... but if I use it with my desk I'm a little kid looking up at my screens. I emailed them with all the details and asked them to recheck their assembled height at their office and maybe change their online specs (available on their website). Never heard back from them this time. So rather than return it, I got a Turismo gaming desk which is lower. So, another $350 to make the chair work. All in all a pain, but with my new desk, its a decent chair. Don't like the plastic and flimsy armrests, but the rest is nice. You could probably find another chair for half the money which would work just as nice. When you do get the chair, the first thing you have to do is screw 4 bolts through metal arms on the seat base through the side of the back rest.... and I can tell they have issues with this because the instructions say to slowly check that the screws go in smoothly, and no material is blocking them (you have to push it through the chair material and blindly find where it screws in, then tighten). I did all of that, but couldn't get the 4th screw in... searching through the hole with my finger I found that the threads where the screw would go were completely gone, thus it would never work. I imagine on the inside of the seat back in the frame they predrill threads, then cover the chair. You as the assembler must line up an external bar, push the bolt through the bar, through the small slice in the chair material, and magically find those threads and tighten. Then cover with a piece of plastic so it looks ok. They should have done it the other way around with a stud coming OUT from the inside so you merely attach a bolt to an already visible stud. Anyway, neither here nor there, but that's how my experience taught me about the chairs mechanics. So, finished height 14-16", bolting to the seatback frame is a fragile and experience, especially on the last of the 4 bolts if the others weren't perfectly aligned. Hope this helps.

Comfortable, but has some issues
I purchased this chair initially in the fall of 2021. It's really comfortable and I really like the chair itself. However, there are definiely quality control issues here. I've had to have this chair replaced TWICE in under a year. That's 3 chairs so far. I got the last one in October 2022 it's now February of 2023 and the 3rd chair is now broken also, but my warranty is dead, so I guess I'll start looking elsewhere for my next desk chair. I do want to say though that the customer service for this chair has been pretty good. So, what keeps breaking? It's the metal frame on the back of the chair. It seems to break just above the hinge mechanism every time (2x on the left side of the chair, once on the right). I'm not sure what is causing this, but it does seem to be consistant.

Pedí esta silla considerando las buenas calificaciones y los comentarios que tenía. Ahora, después de 3 meses usándola puedo decir que: * tardó 26 días en llegar, fué demasiado, o las fabrican sobre pedido o las traen desde Asia, pero si no tienes prisa por usarla, eso no importa. * Llegó perfectamente empacada, con todos los materiales y herramientas necesarios para su ensamble. * la silla es muy cómoda, mi trabajo es de escritorio y paso entre 10 y 12 horas sentado, realmente no se siente el tiempo. * el cojín lumbar en un principio se sentía bien, pero al mes terminé por mejor quitarlo porque ese si me empezó a molestar, resultó ser muy voluminoso para mi espalda. * hay comentarios de que en tiempo de calor es calurosa, y es verdad, el material no transpira y genera mucho calor. * otra cosa que incomoda al principio, luego me acostumbré, son los "alerones" que están a un lado del asiento pues son rígidos, te comprime el muslo y terminas adolorido. Ojalá tuvieran cierta flexibilidad para que se ajusten a las piernas. Esto puede ser una molestia mayor para gente con piernas regordetas y voluminosas. A alguien con esas características tal vez le resulte mas cómoda la versión de oficina cuyo asiento es completamente liso, sin los alerones. * Y lo que definitivamente me decepcionó fué el descansabrazos, por el precio de la silla esperaba la máxima calidad, y apenas llevo 3 meses de uso normal, de trabajo en oficina, y ya se rompió, como se puede ver en la foto. Desgraciadamente ya había pasado el tiempo de la garantía y así me la tengo que quedar. Esta silla me dejó un sabor agridulce, quisiera que me gustara al 100%, porque realmente es cómoda, pero tiene ciertos detalles que la demeritan.

Excelente Silla
Pasé de tener una silla de oficina que tenía más de 5 años a esta. Trabajo desde mi casa y literalmente paso más de la mitad de mi día sentado enfrente de la computadora y/o Xbox. La silla es súper cómoda, puedes pasar largos periodos de tiempo sin sentir alguna incomodidad. Las almohadas de soporte lumbar y el soported de la cabeza ayudan mucho con la postura. Es un gasto fuerte, pero si realmente pasas gran parte de tu día sentado, vale la pena el gasto. Armarla es sumamente sencillo, y viene con un manual donde explican paso a paso el cómo hacerlo, aparte de que viene con las herramientas que necesitas para armarla. Recomendada al 100% Se podría decir que el único punto malo es que es un poco caliente por el material, pero eso es de esperarse de cualquier silla del mismo tipo.

Excelente ergonomía
Excelente, soy programador de software home office y paso largas horas sentado lo cual me causaba dolor en la espalda con los años, pero desde que compre esta silla adiós dolor, puedo pasar largas horas sentado sin ningúna incómodidad, la recomiendo ampliamente a toda la comunidad de desarrolladores y todos aquellos que pasen largas horas sentado.

Muy cómoda y muy buena calidad
Lo primero de todo es la calidad, la cual es impresionante, por otro lado y aun más importante esta el tema de la comodidad, la cual es sin duda, al menos para mi con la función de balanceo sobresaliente. La dureza de la espuma es adecuada y tras unos meses de uso está como el primer día, la recomiendo. Solo echo en falta un cojin cervical un poco más grueso ya que no me llega como desearía, un poco más grueso me permitiría un mejor apoyo al menos en mi caso. Si hay algún cambio más adelante actualizare.
