finally found the part i needed for portable dishwasher hook-up for 3/4"-27 faucet!

i had looked everywhere for a part that would allow me to connect my portable dishwasher (why do they call it portable? the thing is huge! more like.. detached dishwasher? after-thought dishwasher? you-live-in-a-tiny-ancient-house-that-has-no-place-for-a-standard-dishwasher dishwasher?) since i installed a delta lorain faucet that has a 3/4"-27 non-standard diameter and wouldn't work with a standard dishwasher attachment aerator. for that faucet, you have to take off the decorative aerator that comes with the faucet and use this adapter to then put on the standard dishwasher attachment aerator so you can use the snap-on connection in the dishwasher supply hose. it's a clumsy assembly but it works! mine leaks a little bit, but i've been lazy and haven't tried to cover the threading with plumbers tape, but it seems like that would do the trick to stop the leak. so, don't make a zillion trips to big-box hardware stores staring at a wall full of adapters that all look the same, and just order this thing to solve your dishwasher/nonstandard faucet crisis.

NOT for Tiny Junior size faucet cache

Didn't fit my Kohler faucet 'tiny junior' aerator cache. A more detailed description would make my search easier.

It works, but...

It leaks a little on the thread between the unit and a garden hose adapter, so I have to put a towel over the top of it to keep small streams of water from shooting all over, but at least I can finally connect a 3/4" garden hose to my Price Pfister kitchen faucet!

It will let you attach a 55/64 Inch-27UNS Female Thread aerator to your weird 3/4-27 male head.

it works, this will make your slightly too small male faucet tread a little bit bigger so the normal aerators will attach to it. I haven't had leaks yet, but should note that I am, VERY, strong, so I could tighten it by hand very well.
