Rugged, reliable power adapter
Does the job and does it right. Heavy duty cable and sturdy connectors make it almost indestructable. Treat it right and get a lifetime of use.

This does exactly what I needed... To convert the 30amp 120/240 generator plug to my RV's 50 amp service. A couple of things though: If you have 2x30 amp plugs on your generator then you are better off getting the generator adapters and a cheater box so you can step up to 50 amp and get full use of your air conditioners, etc. I quickly realized one air conditioner is not gonna cut it during the summer time and so this adapter is no longer useful for me because I want the full 50 amp service, but it will probably get use here and there when needed. Also, this thing sags BAD! You will want to support the connector so it does not sag off the side of your generator or you may end up with problems... Why they wouldn't make this go 90 degrees so it doesn't hang down so bad is beyond me. Overall I am satisfied which is why it gets 4 stars but consider something to mount your adapter on so it doesn't damage your generators circuit panel with the sagging (it is a heavy adapter).

OK but not top quality
This is OK for the money and being able to find this type of adapter. The quality is typical Camco; middle of the road. Experiences with Camco have been marginal. When these things get hot, they melt.

Absolutely perfect adapter for RV Camping
Absolutely perfect adapter for RV Camping, use it to plug a 30 amp 4 prong L14 locking generator TT50 outlet into your 50 amp Camper Power Cord. Very convenient handling grip on the TT50 end. Sturdy enough for frequent use & much safer handling than a combo single plug type which can shock you or burns out easy. While we do not frequently primitive camp using a generator we are now better able to use the Camper as a base in event of longterm power outages such as post hurricane or ice storm where the generator does not have enough power to run the house heater, fridge, freezer, lights, hot water heater & stove - we can run all just like camping limited to using only 1 air conditioner.

Honda EU7000IS this is what you need to have full power.
I use this with the New Honda EU7000is and works great here is how to setup that EU7000is to work with this plug. 1 with Honda off and nothing Connected 2 Flip the voltage selector to the right 120V240V mode. 3 Then above 4 prong twist lock turn on the 30 amp protector switch by flipping it up to on. 4 Use a 4 prong twist lock pig tail to plug in your 50 amp camper. 5 Enjoy being able to power everything in your RV and outside it.

Well designed and worth the price paid.
I am using the product to connect my 10000 watt Briggs and Stratton generator to my Manual Generac switch box. The adapter allows me to hookup the 50 amp cable with a 4 prong plug from my transfer switch to lo a 30 amp twist lock receptacle on my generator.
