Blue lettering not as easy to read
I wanted larger digits so I could see at night without my glasses on. This clock allows you to auto dim at specific times so the digits get fainter at night. Believe it or not, I can still see the smaller red digits from my Old clock (shown on the right) better than the larger blue digits on this new clock (on left). I may try it one night without the auto dim but I'm afraid it'll be too bright (but at least I'd be able to see the digits then). I like that it changes the time automatically based on daylight savings time. I would suggest someone like me who is nearsighted to try red digits as the blue digits ended up being harder to see ultimately.

I CAN SEE!!!!!! At a Glance the day, time, and temperature.
I like the size even and cnvenience; thou it is too large for the area. This is the prefect clock for Golden Girls, like myself. Most impotantly - I CAN SEE!!!!

Good but.
Bought the 18" for my garage. It works very well but be aware that the temperature is totally useless, it's always at least 25 degrees out. How bad is it? Well at the moment it's 36f in garage but according to this, the temperature it's 61.

Large, bright, easy to read from a long distance, caution
This display is large and very bright. Its easy to read from long distances. It was easy to hang with 2 screws and the included screw template was perfect. The button placement and cable management features are well thought out. I had some apprehension because some reviewers said it had really bad accuracy and the time drifted. I've run this one for two weeks now and while that's not very long, I'm not seeing any noticeable drift in the accuracy. Will update this post if I begin to see that issue. The only issues I have with the clock, and the reason for a 4-star review instead of 5, are two simple features that are missing: (1) The clock will ONLY do 12 hour format. It won't do 24-hour format. If this was explicitly stated in the description I missed it, and was really looking for it to do the 24-hour format. (2) There is no brightness adjustment. The clock is extremely bright and very easy to read, but in even slightly dark environments like operations centers or some offices it is too bright. It can be glaring to look at directly, and casts enough light that it illuminates the room and I don't even need to turn the lights on to walk to my console. I don't understand why there isn't a dimmer for this clock, not even a high - med - low button. (3) (Added 2020-09-18) This clock does not indicate when there has been a power failure; it will reset and continue reporting the [incorrect] time as though nothing had happened. No blinking numbers, no blinking colon, nothing. Update 2020-09-20: I discovered an important quirk about this clock. The clock requires power from the 5V 1.2A adapter to operate, although it also accepts 2 AA batteries for backup in the event of a power failure. During the power failure mode with batteries installed it will keep the time but with no display, and resume with the correct time after power is restored. That behavior was to be expected, but here is the important part: If the backup batteries are not installed and the clock loses power, once power is restored and the clock resets there is NO INDICATION that there was ever a power outage. I had a power flash at approximately 2300 one evening, and I was halfway through the next day before I realized that the clock was an hour fast. The power blip had reset the clock but there was no way to tell that anything was wrong without comparing it to another reference source. Even a $5 wal-mart alarm clock will blink to let you know that the power was interrupted. So if you get this clock, be certain to install and maintain the backup batteries or a power outage may cause the clock to start lying to you.

Vibrant Lights
My husband requested this to hang above the closet so when he wakes up it's easy to see the time. This definitely fits his order. You can see the numbers from across the room Very clear and bright.

Worth the money
Bought this clock for my 87 yr old dad and he loved it so much that I had to get one for myself. It is great the numbers are large enough to see and bright enough. I also like that you can adjust the brightness.

Very BIG and brigt numbers.
I like this clock very much as it has very large and very bright numbers. It also shows, both a calender, clock and temperature, and very easy to set up, and very easy to see even when you are across the room. Great product, great price. I have this clock on the wall about 5 feet abve the floo; it makes it easy to see all the time date and temperature very easy. Fantastic clock !!!

Excellent, Retro styling, Simple and CLEAR
I am AWFUL for time keeping once the winter and autumn months settle in. The near-perpetual darkness throws my whole circadian rhythm out of sync, my insomnia goes wild, i ache and my moods swing like the moons affect on the tides! So i NEEDED this to get me consciously and Unconsciously synchronized with time again, and What a Great job it has done so far. Its Bright, Clear and gives me All the information i need (Time, Date, room Temp). Getting ready in the Evenings for Bed (as I am better aware of the time) and managing my time better in the mornings means I am better organised. This is the BEST clock i have purchased - and being Digital, it is SILENT. Short of NASA themselves, I dont think anyone could have made this better (other than including a 24 format as well as AM/PM format).

Lumière Del trop éclairante la nuit même si on baisse l’intensité.
Cette horloge était parfaite pour ma tante demi-voyante qui est hospitalisée à l’hôpital depuis 3 ans car hémiplégique. La lumière Del éclairait trop la chambre de l’hôpital et cela empêchait les usagers de dormir. Autre point la langue d’affichage étant l’anglais, ma tante ne comprenais pas le jour de la semaine affiché. Je trouvais cette horloge très utile pour l’orienter dans le temps avec indication du jour de la semaine, date, mois et année mais incompréhensible pour les mots abrégés affichés en anglais. Le jour de la semaine devrait être complet et en francais, par exemple mercredi et non Wedn.
