Lightweight + easy to use
This digital shipping postal scale is an excellent tool for anyone shipping packages. It is accurate and very easy to use. The LCD display is easy to read and the scale itself is lightweight and portable. It also has a tare feature which is great for subtracting the weight of a container from the total weight. This makes it easy to get an accurate reading of the package contents. I've used this scale for a few months now and I'm very happy with it. It's a great value for the price and I would highly recommend it to anyone who needs to weigh packages for shipping.

Pretty nice scale, the open flap though is a bit flimsy and im scared it will break.
This scale is pretty accurate for what I need it for. I do a good amount of shipping and I would love to save money on not having to overestimate the packages I am sending. With this I am actually able to weigh out the package EXTREMELY accurately. All the packages I shipped out, it was always exactly what was weighed at the post office. It was never off which is perfect. The one thing I will say is to make sure you remove that styrofoam piece between the tray and the actual scale. I actually kept those as I keep the scale in storage and it keeps the scale from breaking. The tray has a nice feature in that you can lift the top to have something to lean on in case the package is not flat. Be aware that the actual piece is just a simple plastic piece. It can handle some weight but not a ton. The hinge is a bit on the flimsy side. The total max weight it can take is 50 pounds. That being said, it is not the most ideal scale for traveling. It also does not freeze the weight so you cannot have something that covers the scale screen or else you cannot read it. Even at an angle, you are unable to read it as the coloring is off. The screen is LCD and is a bit prone to scratches so be careful. At least this is able to read to the nearest tenth of a ounce and a full pound. I actually like the ounces part as I am able to measure my card sales and such very accurately. You can also use this for light packaging (card sales). It gives you a pretty accurate reading which is great. It is battery powered and it does come with the batteries needed to power it. It also can use the wall plug (also provided) so you do not have to use the battery if needed. How long it last will depend on the batteries you use it from what I can tell. I usually go towards rechargeable battery so I never had to throw out any batteries. That being said, it most likely will not use too much battery power and could last even several months before the batteries died. You can also opt to use the power plug which will ensure you do not use any battery. Please note that it will not recharge any rechargeable inside that scale. I did test the batteries provided and they were all good so that is a good sign. The scale can handle up to 50 lb and you can zero the scale out easily. I recommend doing it every time you weight it. The reason being is that every time I take something off the scale, it tends to shift to negative weight. It does not hinder the accuracy if you zero it out though. The data is actually pretty accurate and I have not seen it miss weigh any package so far. There is pretty good grip on the bottom and for the best results use this on a flat solid surface and you do not have to worry about it sliding off. Do not use this on carpet as it causes the weight to be off. Other than that, I am very happy with this scale. It is accurate and allows you to get a very accurate weight. For me, it really helps me not have to over estimate my package weight and saves me money in the long run especially when it comes to the USPS first class package. Just an simple ounce can cost me a dollar more so no more of that. The only issue I have is the tray part that opens is a bit on the flimsy side. I am not entirely sure it can hold up to 50 lb on that attachment so be careful. It is a nice thing to have though if you happen to have something that is not flat. It does not hinder the weight measurement at all.

it is a very nice scale for the money
Perfect for cleaning out my storage unit and selling stuff on ebay. I like to package up my items and weigh them before listing so I know how much to charge for shipping. I lost so much money offering free shipping on ebay. Remember the shipping costs come out of your profit if you offer free shipping! With the discount you get on shipping through ebay you can pay for this scale with the savings from shipping 2 or 3 items over paying regular shipping fees.

Great product, great value
I use this for my business, I ship mainly polymailers with clothing. It is accurate, and easy to use. I shopped for a low priced item, and found a high quality piece! I love the battery option... no cord if you don't want to use it. Compact. I'd purchase again!

Great Budget Option
This is a great budget option that gets the job done. It provides the flexibility of using batteries or an adapter. Battery life has been great, it’s well built, and has all of the basic functionality you’d need for weighing items for shipment. It has been reliable for me, I recommend it.

Quick and reliable
What's not to like about this scale? I use mine several days a week and several times a day, works great and no issues. Being able to go up to 50 pounds is a real plus.

Love it!
It was packaged very well and I'm glad it was! The mailman just shoved it in our box that was barely wide enough to get it in there! No harm to the packaging on the outside, the box it was in, or the scale itself. Highly recommend this this! The scale is easy to use and very well made. I'm so happy I purchased this one.

Not the best scale for Amazon Sellers
I recently purchased this scale to weigh the boxes that I ship out to Amazon. The scale is quite small, and it is very difficult to read the weight when you have a box placed on top of the scale. I had to order another scale.

Not accurate at very low weights. Inconsistent readings
This is definitely not the scale for weighing a simple letter. I was trying to weigh a plastic ice cream pail that I was going to fill and it gave me a weight that was approximately 80g lighter than my kitchen scale reads. When I removed the pail, the scale left a couple of grams on the scale. I tared the scale and tried again. It gave a different reading. Removing the pail left 4g on the scale. My third attempt gave different readings again. I never did proceed with weighing what I needed to so can't comment on the readings or consistency of weighing heavier items. One point of interest: there was supposed to be a piece of cardboard under the scale platform that needed to be removed before weighing anything. I couldn't find such a thing, so I can only assume that they were referring to the chunk of cardboard that fell out of the box as soon as I opened it, but that piece of cardboard did not fit under the platform anywhere when I was re-packing it for return. A second comment is that the scale needs to be at "room temperature", so perhaps it doesn't like a cool room (16 degrees C). The reviews indicate that lots of people are satisfied with this scale, but this one did not work properly for me.

Take foam from underneath pressure plate upon receiving the device
Works as intended. Was getting inaccurate and inconsistent results at first because there was packing foam underneath the pressure plate. Also wasn't sure if it was supposed to be there or not. It's not. Take it out.

Not show after the decimal
Honestly, it is a very valuable product, price is very good,not large, and both battery and electric can be used. Only one thing I am satisfied, it doesn't show the number after decimal when I stect the lb, if I want to know, I need to calculate by myself. It is really waste time. So I have to return it. I posted the other one I am using right now, I can read the number in other side. I wish it can be like that. If you don't need as I, that is a very good product to you.

Simple and Convenient Scale
I buy/sell/trade collectibles and as part of that hobby I'm usually selling a number of items every month through online marketplaces or trade groups. This scale is handy for weighing bubble mailers to ensure they meet the weight restrictions for certain lettermail rates in addition to using for parcels in order to quote shipping costs on Canada Post's Snap Ship tool. My only complaint is that the beep sound when it powers on is very high pitched and annoying. Other than that I think it's a great little scale with a simple, useful design.
