2nd time for a review. Amazon never accepted 1st one. I have purchased a total of SEVEN of these assemblies from various vendors. #8 was sent to me directly from Four Seasons.EVERY one had a problem. 1st-Rockauto as shipped from Uni-Select. Crimps not tight at smaller hose. Piece was OLD Four Seasons per the company.(purchased old stock from another firm that had closed down). 2nd & 3rd from Autozone. (Ist piece appeared to be a UAC piece. smaller hose not attached at proper angle to metal line. 3rd piece arrived with small hose collapsed. FOURTH hose was an obsolete OEM part from an obsolete Ford parts seller, Green Sales Company. It was correctly made. However, it was open to the air for possibly 17 years(per manufacturing date on piece) as it was uncapped when it arrived. NOT a functional part.FIFTH piece was from Amazon from a CA warehouse. Top crimp on smaller hose not tight. 6th & 7th ordered from Autozone at same time. Directly shipped from Four Seasons in TX. BOTH hoses had longer hose crimped at wrong angle. Should be approximately perpendicular to long metal line. Hose was crimped at an angle roughly parallel to metal line, pointing back to the accumulator. Both worthless. Spoke to QA manager at Four Seasons. Was to personally go to warehouse & select a properly manufactured piece. I am now waiting for this to arrive. Piece arrived next day. Long hose is crimped to metal pipe at roughly same angle as two received from Autozone purchase. Waiting for response from Four Seasons as I telephoned them. I was told it meets engineering drawing specs. I WAS able to severely side twist the line (likely BREAKING the plastic in the internal barrier of this hose) and THEN form the "U" shape that it needs to be. When releasing the hose, it snaps back into its original position. There is an enormous amount of SIDE pressure. If it meets the drawing specs, then they are incorrect as I photographed the OEM piece as well as the poorly crimped hoses. THEY are all at the proper angle that they need to be, so that they only need a slight and gentle bend into their final "U" shape. Update: August 13, 2014 Ordered ONE additional from Amazon after ONE was in stock. Same issue as all others. STILL waiting on Four Seasons to call me(I have tried to call them, NO answer) about their inspection of their inventory and its supposed conformity to OEM (Ford) specs as I was told they have an OEM (Ford) piece for this purpose. Update: September 2, 2014 I will be trying to reach Four Seasons this week.
