Comfortable, secure support for baby!

WAY too small for marketed age range.

This is marketed up to 18 months old. My 6 month olds' head is in the 50th percentile, so very average. His head would not fit inside of the head support. It just pushed his head forward in an uncomfortable position. He started crying from discomfort. Do not get this unless you have a super tiny baby, or a gnome...

Get out there

My wee one is supported and upright while riding. Perfect for keeping them comfy and vertical while seated. Wee one is 3 months old and loves the bike. Awesome design

Janky

The install mechanisms (Velcro tabs) just barely worked in the Chariot Cross 2. The insert was janky at best when put in. Our 7mo old seemed incredibly uncomfortable in it and ended up just placing her head outside the head rest. We took out the body pad and that worked better for head control but then she was slumped forward, chin to chest. I think it’s outrageous that a $1100 piece of equipment doesn’t come with built in or detachable head support for infants. And to charge $60 for a janky insert is plain robbery. This is going back and we will have to be very judicious about where we ride with the baby until we feel more confident in her neck stability.

Not a good buy

Did not fit in the cross sport and my baby seemed uncomfortable with this in. Also, instructions on how to install were not clear at all. Very frustrating

Ist wirklich nur für ganz kleine Kinder

Lässt sich mit ein bisschen Fingerspitzengefühl und Geduld ganz gut im Anhänger befestigen. Die Sitzfläche sowie der Kopfschutz sind sehr klein. Falls das Kind einen dickeren Kopf hat wird es vom Platzverhältnis (Kopf/Stütze) eng, da der Zwischenraum wo der Kopf hineinkommt einfach sehr klein ist. An sich tolles Produkt aber nur für kleine Kinder die gerade erst sitzen gelernt haben und dann muss man mal schauen wie schnell sie wachsen und wie lange man es überhauptverwenden kann... Leider gibt es soweit mit bekannt ist nur noch eine Unterlage als nächste Option wenn das Kind größer ist. Das finde ich sehr schade, da müsste man sich dringend etwas einfallen lassen um auch dreijährigen eine stützfunktion im Anhänger gewährleisten zu können. Fazit: Produkt ist gut aber nicht lange zu verwenden da es sehr klein konzipiert ist. Dafür ist der Preis dann aber sehr hoch konzipiert... habe da schon bei anderen Herstellern besseres gesehen....

Works with burley trailers

I bought this hoping it would be a more affordable, more sturdy option then the Burley infint insert. I was not disappointed, this insert fits perfectly with the burley bike trailer and holds our four month old very securely.

Non soddisfatto

Non sono soddisfatto del prodotto. Non della qualità in sè ma dal suo utilizzo insieme al carrellino Thule Coaster XT. Purtroppo in questo modello di carrellino lo schienale non si può abbassare quindi per un bimbo piccolo non va bene (10-12 mesi) perchè la testa ciondola in avanti anche mettendo questo adattatore.

Praktischer Support für die ganz Kleinen.

Unsere Kleine sitzt darin super und ist rundum gut geschützt. Einen Helm trägt sie dabei nicht, da dieser nicht mit in den Support passt. Der Kopf ist aber dank der seitlichen und der hinteren Stütze gut gesichert und wird beim Fahren nicht durchgeschüttelt. Generell fahren wir momentan nur geteerte Wege, da dies auch von Thule so empfohlen wird. Auf Schotterwegen wird die Kleine zu stark durchgeschüttelt und die Wirbelsäule damit stark belastet.

It would have been better if....

Had they include a strap for the chest to keep my daughter from falling over when she sleeps in the trailer then it would have been a good product. We had to buy a separate strap to make it usable.
