These parts fit and they function on my original blender
My Oster Blender was new in 1968. I have replaced the container two times one I dropped and broke the other became clouded over time. I have also purchased replacement gaskets a few times. This is the first time I have replaced the blade assembly and the bottom cap. I was disappointed that the cap was much, much thinner and lighter than the original - seemed to me it might crack at some point. So, I am reusing the original bottom cap. The new blade assembly is also much thinner and lighter than the original - which took 49 years to spring a leak. Honestly I don't expect these replacement parts to last for many years, but I was very pleased that replacement parts that fit and function are available. It appears that no manufacturer currently builds their products to last for 50 years so I don't expect it. BUT, I'm very pleased that Oster once did and continues to make replacement parts so I can continue using my "old faithful" blender.

Works Same if not better than OEM
This replacement for my old Oster glass blender is about as close to exact match as you will find. Only difference in my old one is this one isn't broken :-)

Meh! It's just ok.
So, I ordered these because my ring got sucked into the blender and chewed up...but that's another story. These are definitely not original Oster parts. The rings are a different rubber material than the original, but seem to be doing their job of holding stuff in. The base fits ok on my glass blender jar. What I am not happy with is the blade. Rereading the description, it does say that it is an ice crushing blade, which I failed to notice when I purchased. The original Oster blades are curved down which helps create that vortex that pulls everything down so it gets blended well (I primarily use my blender to make salsa). These blades are straight so they just don't create the vortex that the original blade does. While I was able to make my salsa, it took a lot longer blending time to get it to the right consistency. So they are just ok. I'll go back to my original blade and have a backup base and ring.

Fits very old beehive blender perfectly
No more leaks! Was afraid our blender was so old that no new part would fit correctly. Blade works fine although some smoothies require extra starts to get cocoa powder added last to blend in and not stay on top. We do have to be careful when removing the bottom to get the gasket to also let go of the glass body. But that just means that there is no way it is going to leak.

Extended the life of a 40-yr-old blender
This item allowed me to extend the life of a 40-year-old Oster blender. It's not a tight fit to the mechanical part of the blender motor, but it does not leak and works just fine. It allowed me to keep a blender that was a gift from a now deceased family member, as well as saving me the expense of a new appliance.

Exactly what I expected
When I read the reviews, I didn't fully expect it to fit my 30$ oster blender, but it was an exact fit. I lost the original blade and this saved me from buying a whole new blender. It's still a cheap blender, but this blade is an exact replacement for the original. It's also nice that it came with the rubber o-rings. No leaks or broken pieces like other reviewers stated, and I regularly use frozen fruit in my protein shakes. Affordable blade replacement overall.

Rotation
The bottom wall of the unit is little bit smaller, so the rotating part of the motor touches the bottom of the unit and create smell of burning plastic, also the wall are little bit thin than the original part, I wish the length of the bottom wall were little higher.

Works just like the original!
I bought this blender many years ago. Recently I dropped it and the base broke. Had to buy a replacement that came with the blades and seal. Good thing as the blades were getting pretty dull. My blender works again like it used to when it was new! Very grateful for that. Fits tightly with no leaks. Good value for the money.

Surprising Outperformer...
The item was a perfect replacement. The new gasket seals better than the original and the sharp hardened blade performs well and appears to be holding its edge better than the original.
