Excellent Cover

I bought this for a 42" Troy Bilt Pony that would have to stay outside. Amazon delivered days early, and God held off the rains predicted for today until after I got cover installed. You can see the water repellant fabric at work. On this size mower, even the tires and discharge chute could be covered, and elastic holds well! Vents lessen the possibility of condensation, a problem with cheaper covers.

Decent quality cover

Bought this cover towards he end of 2018 and it has lasted up until now. Live near Buffalo New York (GO Bills!) so we get some nasty weather here, sun, rain, snow, and high winds at times. This cover has been outside and on my mower this whole time 24/7 besides when I was cutting or rolling my lawn. My mower was kept in between 2 trailers so water and snow from both roof's dumped on to it and it's held up for around 3 years so I'd have to say I got my money out of it. Did get a little water on the seat near where the vents are, but that's about it.

So Far This Cover is Working Great For Me at a Bargain Price

I have a 52 inch cut Gravely ZTR that I was keeping in an open barn. Unfortunately the mice decided that it was the perfect place to build a nest and this caused me to have to replace some engine parts. I liked keeping the mower in the barn but I hate taking it to the dealer for repairs so I started looking around for a cover. I found several available on Amazon mostly at $50 and up until I ran across this particular cover. The price definitely got my attention so I decided "why not" and ordered it. Since it was designed for a lawn tractor I wondered if it would cover a ZTR but after several attempts (and finding the tag that says "front") I managed to get it on and it covered my mower completely as you can see in the photos. I did fold the seat forward and put the steering sticks on top so it would be shaped more like a tractor but that is certainly not a problem. It fits great and keeps the weather and MICE out too. They would have to get out in the open to get to my mower now and we have a couple of cats that would definitely make short work of them. I like this cover and give it my unqualified recommendation.

If you read my review of the John Deere #LP93917, read this

Interesting, just received this after considering purchase of a new #LP93917 after my previous one had disintegrated after two years. Decided it was worth trying something cheaper. Unpacked this to see how it would fit and noticed that the label shows it is manufactured by the same company as the John Deere that currently costs $75! I can't tell any difference between the two products outside the color and logo. For less than half the price, this is the same product from what I can tell. Time will tell if it might last a little longer because the green color absorbs less light energy than the black. But it's a better value on price alone.

I just ordered my third one in 5 years in my moderate NC climate. This will give you a good idea of what to expect in terms of durability and value. Fit is very good on my 48" deck Husqvarna lawn tractor with some room to spare. Do find puddles on the seat fairly regularly but don't know exactly why as the rest of the tractor shows zero signs of accumulated condensation, leakage, or rust under any conditions. Cover RARELY ever comes loose. In other words, this thing really does its job...except for the minor inconvenience of the puddle on the seat. I suspect somehow the two rear vents must let in some moisture either in the form of rain or condensation that has only ever accumulated on the seat. Not a huge deal since the tractor, including the deck, has been well protected for all the years I've been using this exact model of nylon cover. I only give 4 stars because I think it should be made to last longer than two years with much of that time, in previous years at least, spent in open shade and not in direct sun. Please note that this past year I did leave the covered tractor in the sun for the whole year and the cover disintegrated after about 1 year. Thus, this was a "rush" order since my tractor is presently unprotected and the shredded old cover is in the trash. Cover gave way without warning.

Does A Good Job

This is the second one of these I have purchased. First one held up very well but eventually wore out. Lightweight, but sturdy, quality material. Fits my John Deere 325 tractor with 48” mowing deck just fine.

Best fitting tractor cover on Amazon

I bought one for my John Deere lawn tractor with a 38" deck simply because it wasn't black. It fit so well I ordered another one for my larger Craftsman lawn tractor with a 48" deck and surprisingly it fit just as good! It has elastic on the bottom which keeps it snug against the tires. It also has pocketed vents to keep the moisture out. The best thing about it is the quality and the fact that it is an army green color. I've had black ones before and they rip and get really hot and fade. Not this one!!!

does the job for what it is

covers my 42 inch mower well and seems to last about 2-3 years in the severe east coast weather. We live right on the atlantic ocean in Canada so we see some big storms. I use another elastic shock cord around the mower and only had to chase the cover once ... after a hurricane. recommend the product. (I use the old one that has some tears over the new one as long as it lasts)

NOT worth the money!!!

Had to leave the mower out of the barn for a week. Over that period it rained. Mower was drenched in water including the material seat. Had to sit on plastic to mow...

This cover is doing what I needed it to do very well

We have to make the door on our garden shed bigger to accommodate our lawn mower and this cover is holding up well during the punishing winter months and the severe winds we are experiencing this winter. Money well spent to protect our investment!

Fits well for medium tractors

Fits well and easy to remove or put on. Covers and protects my 46 inch tractor/mower perfectly. Still holding up well after a year in sun and snow.
