Good little canopy and does well to deflect heat.
I like the easy setup and disassembling. I wish the roof was a little higher but then it would be more susceptible to wind gust. It is sturdy. Instructions are a little confusing so just remember to pull the legs apart like an accordion. Edit: The legs also telescope and snap into place. 06/05/22 Update: When you push the bars for the roof in place do on leg at a time. Push each leg at the top where it connects to the roof until you hear a "click". That will indicate that the top of the roof is locked in place for that leg of the canopy. Inside of the canopy frame where you hear the "click" you will see a red tab. That is what "clicked" locking the leg and roof in place. You also press the red tab to disengage the lock so the canopy frame van be collapsed. I couldn't figure out why the canopy sagged on one side. It was because all of the legs were not locked in place. Then when I took it down after wrestling with it that's when I found out what the red release clips were for. Lol. The picture does not show the anchors and tie-downs because mine is on a concrete patio. So there are anchors and a nice carrying case for storing the canopy. It has straps to carry like a backpack to hike and wheels if you want to roll it. The storage bag has a hard plastic bottom where unzips in a square pattern to remove the canopy and stakes. I like it. The back wall and canopy are one piece. The wall has a velcro strap at the top and a velcro strap at the bottom. The straps wrap around the legs and reattache to the velcro on the canopy wall. It's nice because you can unstrap the velcro and lift up the wall to let air flow through. I use to work for EZ UP and this is a good little shelter. I don't know if it is waterproof though. We don't get much rain in California. Lol. Cons: the canopy is a little tight but not so that it would rip. The instructions could be more specific. Overall, I have no complaints. Try it out. You can always send it back if it doesn't perform the way you think it should based on the advertising.

Too many moving parts
Nice concept for a beach canopy. First, there are so many moving parts, i.e. hinges, plastic grips, trigger locks. The effort it took to lock the main hinges at the four top corners the very first time of use was ridiculous. Then, day two at the beach, lo and behold the plastic grip broke at one of the main hinges. Most likely due to the effort to lock into place. We did not lock the 4 corners on day 2 or 3. Despite this, the apparatus stood up well. Setup: it will take 5-10 min to get it done and undone.. Forget folding the tarp to put back into the carryall. Shade: as the sun moves, your shade will shrink. We arrived at the beach by noon and had 50%-10% of shade as the sun moved. We did not keep moving the tarp. That was disappointing. One good thing about this canopy is the way the tarp deflected the heat of the sun. We will be returning this canopy as we made a beeline to a popular hardware store and purchased a Shibumi. From what we witnessed, minimal effort to setup and lots more shade! UPDATE: Purchased this in February and the return window expired in March BEFORE we had a chance to actually use it and experience the weak joint that cracked on vacation in MAY!! Word to the wise: buy shortly (literally) before vacation so you can return it in time.

Not 8x8 but 6x6 and VERY WOBBLY
I uploaded 2 pictures with my just turned 10 year old for reference. We did a trial setup before taking it to our weekend swim meet. I chose this one because of the extra sun side and I purchased the “recommended” additional sun shade side which I chose 8x8 - you know the size this one claimed to be and it is too big because it is ACTUALLY 8x8 unlike this popup canopy tent. Interior highest height is 72 inches and each wall is 72 inches. It is extremely wobbly and I doubt this will last one weekend but I’m going to give it a try. To be fair one seller picture shows that the 8x8 foot dimensions are for the exterior expanded legs not the covered tent portion. I do believe most people think when you buy a tent that says 8x8 feet that the COVERED area is 8x8. I’ll update the review after trying it outside.

Nice tent wrong color
Nice tent but they sent me the wrong color tent. I ordered blue they sent green. I have no time to return so I guess green it is.

Cheep leg extension, they get stuck
Leg extension plastic inserts get stuck , pull out , leg won't extend, have to remove screws to pound out leg then put back together

Decent for the price.
Not too bad of a product for all that you get. The bag it comes in is nice and the shade cover, as well. My only issue is when setting it up the 4 top corners had a hard time popping into place, but once up it is nice. Not very sturdy leg wise- I had to buy (separately) sand bags to hold it down and it is pretty short for a pop up tent. More for kids (height wise) if you’re trying to use it for the beach or other outdoor uses.

Short
Typically at tailgates you see 10x10 tents and they’re too big for your spot and you end up having to take it down. This 8x8 fits great but it’s very short. We added 5 gallon buckets with rocks to serve as weights and add the height to make walking in and out more comfortable. Drilled holes in the tops and secured with wing nuts. Problem solved.

Works like a charm!
It’s really easy to assemble and unassemble! We learned that when we set up camp at the wrong flag football game. My husband and I were able to assemble, unassemble, relocate to the right spot and reassemble within just a few minutes! 5/5 stars!

Good Quality - Easy to erect - Great for the vertically challenged
Erected easily on my own and was able to move it around. Open on 3 sides and the 4th with the side attached doesn’t go all the way to the floor but adequate for protection. You’ll need to duck to get under it but once inside to put over a patio table for weather protection for socially distanced Sunday lunch in the garden in April it’s fine

Looks good but not for tall people
Compact and in a useful backpack/trolley. It unfolded well and I could put it up on my own. Smaller than expected however. Most adults will need be seated as standing straight is not possible. Also the one side panel only comes 2/3rds of the way down. It will have its uses and we have not returned it, but it was not as tall as we were expecting and I have concerns about the strength of the legs.

Smaller than the average man.
Had to return as one of the legs would not extend and some of the stitching on the canopy was loose. Also beware that the maximum height at the top is only 5foot 9inches which means that the bottom of the canopy is under 5feet high. The picture of the man standing next to it is very misleading.

Only suitable for Hobbits and small children
comes in a good carry case and is easy to assemble. But it's 5ft high off the ground! My own fault for only looking for widthxdepth measurements as was in a rush to order a gazebo for the following day, but we couldnt use it on the day as it was so small. Overall its pretty pointless unless you are a Hobbit or small child.

Great value for money.
Easy to assemble and disassemble by yourself. Sturdy and warm in the right garden location. Ideal for small table and chairs.
