Holds more than 115 total pounds

I gave this a 4 star in sturdiness only because the handle is on the narrow side. However, it is sturdy. The description states 115LB with sand. I had no problem increasing that weight to 35lbs each or140lbs total and could have pushed a little more. Although the handles are narrow they did not flex under the weight. I used all purpose sand from HD or Lowes and it took less than 10 min to fill all 4. I am a diehard football tailgater and have seen many pop up "tumble weeds" flying across the parking lot. Ive used weighted sacks, weights, etc.... but all fail because the they either slip off the legs or do not have enough weight to hold down in gusts. These have the weight and two secure points velcro and foothold, but the handle can be used as an anchor for guide ropes as a secure point for an extra point of contact.

Vast improvement from the bags.

These are barely noticeable. They blend in nicely with my white tent and look very professional. Most importantly they have held up in Oklahoma wind. 5 stars.

Ordered 2x and one was always broken

I got these because they were the best size for transport and weight for my tent. Fillable with water sand or gravel and not too too heavy. My first order the bottles leaked. My exchange had one with a faulty cap. The cap was not even screwed on to one of them when I opened it. The mouth of the container had an uneven lip and didn't allow the cap to be put on. Would have ordered a 3rd set swapped out the good ones for any broken ones but Amazon wouldn't allow a 3rd exchange. The velcro on them did make it easy to tie the working ones around the tent leg.

Keep an eye on straps when moving/filling.

We filled with dirt for extra weight. Was going to also add water but couldn’t get cap back off. 1 of the straps that secure the weight to the canopy was missing or fell off so pay attention to the straps when filling and / or moving as they are not secured to the weight very well. The handle location (on top) makes carrying easier then the tall style with the handle location on the side. .

Seem to do the trick

I actually bought these to use with the other type of weights since I need 40 pounds of weight per canopy leg in order to meet the requirement for the county that I sometimes sell at a pop up market. I put the flat (weight style) weights on the bottom and then put this weight on top and it gives me about 45-47 pounds of weight, which is plenty. I used sand to fill these. They're easy to install and do the trick.

Much more attractive than sandbags

I bought two set of these to help keep an 11’x13’ gazebo in place on my concrete patio. I wasn’t crazy about the gray color since it didn’t match my color scheme so I spray painted them. (So far, so good, but I don’t expect the paint to adhere very well over time with constant exposure to elements, and these really aren’t designed to be painted.) When filled with both water and sand, they provide plenty of heft to keep my gazebo in place. The cap is not water-tight and water will leak out if the weight is tilted far enough or turned on its side. The quality is good and they seem rugged and durable. And They certainly look better than limp bags of sand!

Smaller than expected...straps tangle

I thought they would be bigger but they are tiny. These arrived and look more like glorified milk jugs...the velcro straps get tangled when trying to attach them and also keep falling down from their channel grooves... Some of them are a touch too short so one good wind and they will break. The vertical channels for the canopy legs don't fit and/or the velcro won't close if you try. Overall a good idea...somewhat works, but I am now saving milk jugs and filling with water and tying them to the legs...same thing.

Great weights

These gazebo weights are pretty sturdy, easy to use and quite heavy with the water added. easy to put in place using the velcro straps. Just be aware the weights are placed on the inside of the legs so you loose a bit of room within your gazebo at the corners, obviously this is only relevant if you don't have a great deal of room with your furniture inside. Would recommend.

Gute Gewichte

Mit Sand befüllt (knapp 17 kg schwer) haben die "Kanister" den Pavillon auch bei den Sturmböen der letzten Wochen an Ort und Stelle gehalten. Ich gehe davon aus, dass sie länger halten als 1 Sommer, länger haben die Pavillongewichte aus Textil nicht durchgehalten.

Great weights

Great weights. Used to use milk jugs full of sand. These are way better. They can dent in pretty easily if you use it as a seat, soooo... Don't do that... But using the way they're supposed to be used? Excellent.
