Perfect for Travel
We travel often, even with small kids. It is nice to have a few toys for them to play with in hotel rooms when we need some down time and don’t want them on screens. These are perfect. They are compact, but allow for a lot of fun and creative play.

Responsibly made, and very sturdy.
Smooth with well embedded magnets. Much better quality than the many knock-offs available online. Gives good work to people who need it!

Excellent company, product, and aesthetic. Hoping my toddler grows to love them.
I bought these for my 21 month old son to use as a diaper bag toy. The company: this company is named after a Honduran city (Tegucigalpa) and has an environmentally and socially conscious mission. They support replanting efforts, a school in central America, and manufacture the toys in an independent factory in Honduras. Because I have personally traveled (and loved) Honduras and other locations in Central America, I fell in love with this aspect of the toys. The packaging: the felt pocket pouch is lovely, simple, modern, and well made. My toddler is unable to manipulate it, however. I'm sure for a child a bit older it would be easy as there are no clasps, it's just that the dense, thick felt has enough friction with itself to make it hard for a small fry to open. That also means it stays completely closed and intact in the diaper bag, stroller bag, etc. The blocks are also wedged in there fairly tightly, which means it will likely stand up over time (I'm not worried about the pouch stretching) and don't fall out. The blocks: these are clearly well made with a smooth finish, subtle colors, and strong magnets. My toddler is able to get the blocks apart easily and they fit well in his hands (not too big, not too little). He does sometimes seem confused that the polarity of the magnets means the blocks only stick together one way. He sometimes requires assistance getting them to stick to each other. Overall: my son is 21 months old and these don't grab his attention long yet, but I continue to introduce them in the hopes he will grow to enjoy them more. I love the company ethics, the Central American origin, and the look of the toys. They are a fantastic diaper bag addition as the pouch is compact, stays closed despite just tossing it in to rumble around, and the magnets mean the toys are easy to use on planes, in restaurants, and in the stroller. These are one of my new go-to gifts for kids in the 2-4 range.

Portable but wish wood was smoother
Bought a Tegu portable block set coupe of years ago. It is expensive but kids like it and I like that is is magnetic and hold together for easy storage in the pocket provided. The wood feels less finished (smooth) than the ones of a different style bought previously.

Great!
These were for a gift for my daughter (she's 1) for car trips. They're awesome. They stay together because they're magnetic, which is great for in the car and ensuring pieces don't go (as) easily missing. Kept her occupied for quite a while! My son (he's 10) also liked them after seeing her play with them - so I purchased him a set as well! Although, the package on his says the color is "mahogany" when it's clearly a natural tone (which is what I purchased). Just amused me that the packaging was incorrect.

My son loves these
Initially, when I opened the package, I was shocked at how little these are, because I was expecting like regular sized blocks, but these are really little. I was also a bit discouraged by the simpleness of them, because the flat pieces are limited in how you can position them. Despite all of that, my 15month old son adores them. He's not much for building with regular blocks yet, and he doesn't understand how to build a tower or do anything but knock the regular blocks over. But he loves sticking these together and building them up tall or make different shapes. They're small, but not small enough to be unsafe for him, and they fit perfectly in his little hands. I love it that this is a toy that can grow with him. Its great for now, and as he gets bigger I like it that I can add more variety and more complex sets that work well with these ones. Im hoping to get magnatiles for him someday, but they're not safe until he's 3. These are safe and wonderful right now, and m guessing they'll be wonderful for a long long time.

Expensive but worth it
I love these blocks. They are so fun to play with. I got these for my grand daughter. I keep hiding them from her cause I want to play with them. When she finds them she loves to play with them too! She does not like to share with me so I may have to buy more. This is an 8 piece set but it has been a great introduction to magnets and wood toys for my GB. She is 2.5 and she can use these blocks. I think it is the perfect size for her to learn how to use them. She is able to turn them an figure out how they "stick" together. She takes them with her almost everywhere (when I am not playing with them). I was not sure I needed/wanted the carrying case, it has been a life saver. We can get all the blocks back into the case without having to count how many are missing. I am sure we will be able to use these blocks for other building projects as the Grands get older. I would recommend this toy to anyone. I like this size for my younger grand baby. The colors are fun. The stem possibilities are going to be amazing. If you are debating in anyway, my advise is they are well worth it.

Great wooden blocks
These are on the pricey side. I love them though! Yes 1-99 totally accurate! I like playing with these. Having the magnets inside make it so little ones creations work better and stay together better. The push from the magnets when they aren’t lined up right seem to not bother her as of yet. We just bought a second set to expand our play. You can’t see the magnets and the sides are all flat and smooth. ( some of the competitors you can see the magnets) I will also add the square blocks are only about an inch in this set. So somewhat small. A toddler could potentially swollen or get one stuck in their throat. I was defiantly let down by pricing and the change of prices based on colors. Blossom colors are more expensive than blues. In an environment where we are trying to encourage girls in STEM activities and careers seems like they are discouraging it, by charging more for colors that girls would find more appealing to help encourage their interests.

Lovely toys for travel
Took our 18 month old on a looooong haul flight and packed this along with another few bits to keep him entertained. Nice quality, feels safe as the magnets are internal and cant be eaten!

Nice but got stopped through security each time
Fun toy but had it in my carryon on holiday and our bag got stopped for an extra check twice because of it. On our return flights I put it in a separate tray ahead of the rest of our stuff so it didn’t hold up the rest of our stuff.

Magnetic blocks - Best purchase on Amazon
This is my best buy yet on amazon. The magnetic blocks are super cute and fun. Brilliant quality. Appearance is exactly same as that shown on the app. Love this. If you like fun stuff, then do buy these.????

A bit pricey for what you get.
Great item, but I feel it’s a bit expensive for what it is. My daughter who is 22 months liked it well enough. I bought it for a road trip, and she played with it for 10-15 min each session as I rotated toys to keep her entertained. Still better than letting her watch movies the whole trip.

Best blocks for fun!
Threads are great for our little one! We got them when he was 11 months old and he loves them. It's perfect for travelling. Our son loves pulling the blocks apart. These blocks are worth the price!
