Works as advertised

Loved this low tack tape! I used it to hold dies in place for running through the die cutter. I also used it for holding stencils secure when ink blending. It did a superior job on both. It’s low tack, but holds things in place, is not sticky, and one piece can be used several times. I highly recommend this tape!

Expensive, but love it

I use this tape on paper, from copy paper to fine art paper. It holds well, but removes without any issue at all. I've always used drafting tape in the past for my art projects but sometimes it would slightly damage the paper upon removal. This never does. The problem is it's quite expensive relative to other products. The only thing that helps defray costs is that I can use the pieces quite a few times before they're no longer sticky.

Great Crafting Temporary Tape

This tape works well to keep a die from moving, when put through a paper die cutting machine. As desired, it comes right off without tearing the paper. I'm not sure why temporary tape is more expensive than permanent tape, but it is a good product for my needs.

I like it enough

I'm not an artist but sketch often. I use this to tape plain copy paper to a drawing board or cutting board while I draw, and it's fine. No marks when I take off the tape, no ripped paper. I feel like it could be a very teeny bit tackier, but this is the third time I'm buying it; I'm staying with the known quantity.

Artis tape should stick too

Got this 'low tack artist tape' on sale. It had been over $7. When it went on sale down to $4 and change I decided to get it. You can see in the picture how well it keeps the paint from the edges even with me rubbing my fingernail hard up and down the length of the tape - 9" (inches). Maybe Scotch doesn't know about watercolor or artists needs. On the description it says "Creates hard paint lines", "Sticks securely", "Removes without damage" and that last one it does. But it doesn't do what it says for your art and the edges. I will send it back and use the $4 for some better tape. Would not recommend to anyone or buy it again.

okay this is not what I thought it was at all. I was looking for low tac masking sort of tape for drawings and yes this is low tac, but I feel like it's for certain circumstances. like if you need to tape ontop of photos or tagging documents or something you really do not want to damage. I gave it 5 stars in the adhesive category because that is exactly what it says it is/does, I didn't want to give it less stars as i am just unsmart. the roll is very small. the tape has a papery feel. I'm not returning it because I'm sure I'll find some use like maybe for matting a drawing or something. idk lolol.

Works Well for Some Specialized Applications Requiring Low Tack Tape

This is one of those products that probably should just be tried. I bought it for less than $4 as an Add On item. It works perfectly for what I wanted, but I mostly wanted to use it for masking and holding lightweight paper in place on a light box. -It is not as sticky as painters tape or masking tape. -It is thicker and more rigid than most tapes. I can lay it down and use it as a hard edge to draw very straight lines. -I've laid it down over ink drawings and dried watercolors and not had any damage to the paper, ink or paint. The only thing I see on the back of the tape is lint and stray cat hairs. -I haven't seen or felt any residue on the paper when tape is removed. I've never left it on for more than a day or two, so that could change with time. I don't know. -The tape is 3/4-in wide. It's easy to cut for smaller width or to form shapes for masking. I would not use this for anything requiring much strength. I would recommend trying some of this tape on a test swatch if concerned about removing medium.

Dont get for watercolour bleed provention

I bought this to border my watercolour art to avoid bleeding and create a clean line around my finished piece. It doesnt do that at all amd you just get the watercolour seeping underneath, even after a number of attempts and it being pressed down super firmly.

A must have with colouring books or colour painting
