Comfortable and super easy to insert/remove. Well worth the money~!

No more rolling up the cone style plugs and trying to get them into the right position. The sticks on these allow you to easily find the right angle for your ear canal. The round bulbs are comfortable and seal very well. While there are higher decibel reduction ear plugs out there, these go quite well at 28 db. Wish I would have found these sooner in my racing career~!

Best in ear plug I have ever used.

I have used earing protection for over 45 years. These are the best I have found for ease of use and sound suppression. I'm retired now and still keep a box at home.

Can you NOT hear me now?

I use these for loud movies (or just the loud parts) and to endure my church's worship music, which is often at rock concert levels. I used to use the flexible plugs with flanges and a nylon string that runs between the plugs so you can drape them around your neck. The flanged type worked well at times, but sometimes would spontaneously lose their seal, especially when I was singing (because my jaw motion changed the shape of my ear canal), so I had to frequently adjust them to keep out the sound. These 3M plugs seal my ear canals completely and don't break the seal even when I move my jaw. They're also much more effective at blocking the sound. I like the plastic cord they come with alright, but it's a bit stiff so it's more work to straighten out the kinks and then wrap it back up into a small ball that will fit in my pocket when I'm done with them. But that's very manageable. They excel at their main function, which is to keep out sound comfortably. I just wish they came in smaller quantities than 100 so it wouldn't cost so much when you only need a couple of them. These are the best plugs I've tried. I don't like the foam type that you have to squeeze and then quickly insert before they expand again. These stay cleaner better since they don't absorb dirt as easily. They form a secure and comfortable seal to keep out the sound.

Simply the best ear plugs I've used...

I protect my hearing because I know that once it's gone I can't get it back. These are intended for hearing protection, not creating a zone of silence, so the person who bought these for student use (and gave them a 3-star rating) probably expected something from them that they simply aren't designed to do. These excel at what they are designed to do. They require no pre-compression prior to insertion into the ear (so they're quick to insert), provide very good protection on their own, are comfortable enough to wear all day, and have a lanyard that'll allow you to let them hang about your neck when removed should you desire to do so. Personally, I give a quick tug and tear the lanyard off, as I don't like that -- which is another selling point for me, in that the lanyard is there for those who want it and also very easily removed for those who do not. I use these when: * mowing * trimming * shooting * working heavily with air tools such as impact wrenches, air hammers, and the like The box is wall-mountable and has instructions that'll help you properly place the screws on the wall should you wish to do so. I did this, and when I reorder these, I'll be putting the new box in the same place as the old one ... which is nice as I don't need to depend on the old box holding up for years; the entire solution is disposable.

Can take out and reinsert without getting plug dirty by touching it. Easy to keep up with since they are corded.

QUIET!-Mutes the Crazy, noisy world for me.

I love these. I have ADD, and SUPER-sensitive hearing. So I carry these with me almost everywhere. We have a pass to Knott's Berry Farm, and this helps to cut out all the roller coaster and Camp Snoopy noises, or in loud restaurants while we enjoy a nice meal with our dining option on our season pass. Also at church we have a larger than life worship team. Their slow acoustics? I can handle, but the fast loud praise songs overwhelm me. Also THESE earplugs are easy to insert! I also use them at the gym, (loud workout music) and in the pool. Gift the gift of PEACE to a quiet person or the introvert this season, with these. On the 7 day God would have napped with these on, but they came out later...You can have a peaceful lunch hour anywhere with these. I just wish they came in a 50 pack.

All in all seem to be decent plugs and worth using.

Don't make the mistake I did and think these were basically the same as the express versions. These are a bit smaller and require being pushed deeper into the ear canal than the EAR express versions I had previously. That was the main reason I liked the express. They were simple and didn't have to push so far into your eat to help prevent any problems related to that kind of thing. They do still seem to work as well so I'll keep them and use them. Note that they don't come in pillow packs but instead they come in sealed plastic bags that won't be of any use to reuse the plugs so keep that in mind too. I didn't see that mentioned but I'll leave open the possibility that I missed that detail.
