Husband gift

Got this for my husband's birthday for his Leonard automatic warch . He lives it. It is as quiet as it states and keeps his watch moving when nor using. A little pricey, but read a lot of reviews of many products and this is a good one. Worth the extra money. It is a little bigger than I expected, but great looking and holds 2 other watches. Packaged extremely beautiful.

How to get the watch on the spooler for the first time!

It was difficult getting the watch on the spooler at first, but now its not a problem and works perfect. Might need another one when I get my next Rolex LOL

Great winder!

The winder is completely silent (think ear up to it and nothing silent) and works flawlessly. Love the 12hr delay and it holds the watch very securely. You can't set the turns per day as it is pre-programed at 900 (1800 in bi-directional) but this should do the trick for most auto watches as most need between 600-800. So far the only problem I have is the cuff (watch pillow) is designed for medium to large wrists and it was a struggle to fit my watch as my writs are small. Even though it seems to be getting much better with use, I contacted Wolf and the customer service was excellent and they are going to send me a smaller one. Lastly, keep in mind this is the larger model with extra storage, if you plan on keeping it in a safe or you don't want a large winder you should go with one of the smaller models or even this model but without the extra storage.

For the Automatic Chronograph Connoisseur

I have begun a collection of Swiss Chronographs. I am sorry to say that I learned the hard way why Wolf watch winders are one of the only valid choices for people like me. I had a cheap winder that I bought in a 'big-box-store'. I figured it wouldn't be all that different from one of these. The price was of course much better too. WIthin a month it had destroyed the main spring in my Tag Heuer Grand-Carrera. I was devastated. My significant other gave me one of these for Christmas and I have never even looked at another winder since. I now have four of these scattered around my office and bedroom. It is an excellent looking piece of furniture and the perfect winder for my chronographs. I am sure there are other options and that not all cheap winders are going to immediately destroy your watches. I also now however that nothing beats the Wolf lifetime warranty! So save your sheckles and give your automatic the treatment it deserves. Get a Wolf!

Great Winder / watch storage

Purchased to fit a Tag watch, comes very well packaged and nice quality item. Watch cushion slightly too big for my strap size so a struggle to close clasp so I have just left the strap open on the holder and it works fine. Rotates in both directions so will load / unload the mechanism, silent in operation when front cover is closed. Has a storage holder on top for 2 further watches which is handy. Overall very pleased as this item, I read various reviews and reliability is important, comes with a 2 year warranty and customer service apparently good if it goes wrong so decided to spend slightly more than the cheaper winders which seem to have more mixed reviews.

I'm not often compelled to write reviews (I guess I have high expectations and expect good service!). However, this is a top quality item, and although expensive - worth every penny. I've been using it for over a week almost constantly... It's easy to operate, has multiple modes depending on the automatic watch mechanism and manufacturer recommendations, is completely silent in operation (to my slightly deaf ears at least) and looks stunning. The quality really shines through. It's my first watch winder, so nothing specific to compare it to, but I wouldn't look further than Wolf if I wanted a second. Arrived quickly too.

Great watch winder

Battery life is excellent on these, goes for approx 8 months for 2 'D' batteries (not included). Very expensive but Wolf is probably the biggest brand out there. Works well (obviously) but limited functionality.

I bought this for my partner's birthday and it is absolutely brilliant! He has a Breitling watch and I had read about so many other different cheaper versions so glad I bought the right one. Expensive but perfect for Breitling. There are two settings depending on how often you wear the watch.
