Top notch build but short drawer makes ring holder useless

This is really well built. The glass is clear and free of distortion, the hinge is a piano hinge, and the finish is great. My only complaint is that the drawer height is short. Even my small, simple wedding band won't fit, since the top of it will hit the watch compartment above it when you try to close it. I noticed the cushions are narrow compared to my other brand this one is replacing. This is not a problem, as you can see from the photos, none of the watchers are in danger of bumping into other watches. This is actually a good thing because I can manually wind my Speedmaster without risk of damaging the crown while it's still on the cushion. The cushions are soft and squish down to size, but they are a satinny material and I wonder how well they will hold up with the deployant clasps I have on some of the watches. Only the top middle pocket has a hole in the back for a power cord. I've never seen my wife's Apple Watch charger so I'm not sure how this will be utilized yet. The lock only locks out the lid and not the drawer. This is only useful to keep children from playing with the watches. For size references, the drawer is holding a Spyderco Chaparral and Victorinox SD/Classic knives (both considered the smallest offerings of their respective brands). In one of the small square compartments I had to separate one pair of cuff-links, but in the next one over I could fit two of a smaller style... I have skinny figures, so that class ring isn't very big. The pen is a standard size Meisterstück rollerball. When you're a father of a little girl with long hair, elastics and clips are part of my EDC.

Superior quality, befitting of fine watches

Okay, so I don't own a Breitling or a Rolex, but I do have several very nice watches that I like to display, and this case is worthy of any of them, and much more. The quality is superb! The drawer and lid match up to the body perfectly, as you should expect. The lock (though I never really use it) is smooth, but has a definite click upon completion (the key can be removed in the locked or unlocked position). The window is glass, not plexi-glass, and the hardware is metal, not chromed plastic; the piano hinge is covered on the inside. There were no loose or hanging/frayed ends on any of the stitching, and if the case is not leather, it's a very fine imitation. ALL surfaces are expertly finished, seams are tight and clean, if visible at all. Even the pillows are so finely stitched that you can scarcely make out the seams. The window on the top works great for keeping all my Eco-Drives fully charges, and my Luminox can be seen from across the room with the lights out. The drawer has several nice square compartments for rings, big enough to accommodate large Masonic or Collegiate rings, probably not large enough for a SuperBowl ring... not that most of us have that problem. It also has a couple long compartments that fit large pens or cigar tubes, and a couple mid-size compartments that would hold items such as pocket watches, money clips, Zippos, or a business card holder, etc. Finally, it has a section that looks like it would hold rings in rows, much like in a women's armoire, but even a plan men's wedding band of average diameter is too wide for the drawer to close. This is the only thing about this box that has disappointed me, but then, I may just not be cleaver enough to figure out what this area is intended for. My wife was quite leery about my spending this kind of money on a watch box, but after seeing it in person, even she is impressed with it. Of course it may have something to do with the pattern of the watch pillows and drawer lining being similar to the pattern of the tie on the cover of the 50 Shades of Grey series. She said the box looks like something Christian Grey would own...

Screams quality and attention to detail!

Nothing short of amazing. Quality inside and out. Other companies put all their effort on the outside. That is where Wolf starts but he kicks it into high gear inside as well. Enlarge the photos and take a look. This watch box is even better than it looks in the photos...and it looks great there. Confronted with a couple of options, I asked my wife and she went right to this. It holds all of my watches with TLC, from medium size strap watches to large (but not jumbo) metal band watches around 42 mm size. They all fit perfectly and they never looked better. Check out the padded top surface on the watch dividers (enlarge the photo). Most use a velour or nothing at all, just wood. With padding and wide dividers, what better way to slip your watches in and out without worry of banging a hard surface, even if it is more likely the hard surface will be the thing to wear. Importantly, the wide dividers help the watches from banging into each other. Spacing matters. Check out the fabric on the cushions and other lined surfaces. Rich and durable. They even wrapped the bottom in the same material. And the glass top is, well, glass. Others are plastic. The glass seems thin but it is very strong. It isn't heavy so it won't come slamming down and there is ample clearance for my large watches. Jumbo watches for a jumbo wrist might have problems but that is true of most boxes. Average or large size wrists and watches, no problem. By the way, the drawer is a great touch. It is a valet drawer and holds your fine pens, wedding band, cuff links and more. In short, I spent a long time looking before I jumped and all I have to say is that it was a purchase worth making. The extra cost to get into this product was well worth it. It is masculine, sophisticated, and exudes attention to detail. Wouldn't want to house my collection any other way. And for the one automatic that has a finicky screw down crown, I just keep that on my Orbita winder. The other autos I adjust, shake and away we go. By the way, even my daughter was intrigued by this box...and she can care less about my watches. Now, her jewelry, that is a different matter. If my box goes missing, I know who has it. Hahahahaha!

Highly recommended

Very solid construction, feels sturdy and makes reassuring thud when closing lid. If you have some very wide straps you may struggle to fit them (although one side first usually works) Also, lid has a natural propensity to be closed, not a big deal, glass lets you chose while it's down. Drawer is quite shallow, but all the sections are perfect for cufflinks and bracelets and assorted accessories.

Fantastic Quality

Great watch box!! The materials and finishing is very good. Quality is more than I was expecting for the cost. Love the little draw for cufflinks etc. The grey interior fabric is fantastic and gives a high quality look and feel. I like the way the watch slots are slightly angled to show the watch faces when on the cushions. Glass top feels substantial and lock and key are smooth to turn. Very happy with the purchase. Looking forward to giving it to my husband this Christmas! Thank you!

Perfect watch box.

Happy with quality. Wasn't sure because it was £50 cheaper than other the same. Thought it may be lesser quality. But very pleased. I have 10 watches in the collection and this watch box is perfect.
