New bass fisherman
I usually catch stock trout in local pond. Once a year they stock bass around March. I decided to try this Zoom Trick Black worm this year (2023). First day I caught one about 1.5lb. No one else around me caught anything during my stay around 45 min. I Texas rig this worm weightless and used 6lb spider mono line.

Great Results with a now Classic Lure
These worms have excellent action for catching both small mouth and large mouth bass. They come in a range of colors that either allow matching the forage the bass are feeding upon in relatively clear water or else darker colors that will stand out in stained water. At 20 per bag, they are a good value compared to many other brands on the market. Although sometimes referred to as "floating worms," rest assured that they do not float even if placed in water without the weight of a hook. For large mouth bass, I have the best results fishing this lure on a split shot rig using a 7 foot Medium Power, Fast Action Daiwa spinning rod paired with a Daiwa Ballistic LT 2500 D-XH spining reel. The main line on the reel is 30 pound test MaxCuatro Power Pro Braid with a 15 inch to 18 inch leader of either 15 pound test P-Line Tactical Fluorcarbon when abrasion resistance is paramount or 12 to 16 pound test Stren MagnaThin Nylon monofilament when buoyancy is more critical. To avoid line twist, I attach the main line to the leader using a size 10 Spro Power swivel. To avoid pinching and thereby weakening the more delicate leader, I crimp the 3/0 size split shot to the less fragile braid mainline about 3 to 4 inches above the swivel, which avoids the braid and leader lines wrapping around the split shot when casting, flipping, or pitching the lure. To prevent the split shot from slipping along the main line, I use bobber stoppers, sized for the main line, both above and below the weight. The best hook I've found is a Gamakatsu 2/0 offset, but not wide gap, with an O'Shaugnessy bend for sufficient strength not to bend out and a gauge of wire that will minimize damage to such thin plastic worms. These hooks also have extremely sharp and very durable points that do not require a hard hook set ... just reel up the slack upon getting a strike and follow up with a gentle hook set. After the lure hits the water, I allow about 20 to 30 seconds or more depending on depth and how aggressively the bass are feeding before beginning to very slowly take up the slack and drag the worm toward the boat. If there is no pick up by a bass at that point, I slowly reel in the worm with a jerking action that often triggers a strike. For small mouth bass, I have obtained my best results with a simpler presentation. I omit the split shot and retrieve the lure as if it were a soft jerk bait similar to the jerking action imparted as describe above. Depending on how deep I want to go, I use no weight at all, or go with a small or large tungsten cone head weight of the sort used in fly tying, pegging it to the eye of the hook and counting down until it reaches the appropriate depth. BTW: I experiment with the count-down times, determining appropriate weights by observing the lure's behavior in the crystal clear water of my swimming pool, making notes as needed reminders to bring to the lake.

Perfect
I've purchased these before but didn't feel like going to the store. The price was comparable to in-store and it's the exact same quality. I always use these for bass fishing

Amazing
These caught my eye because of the color and price. I bought 2 bags and gave one to my fishing buddy. The first cast I made with this bait I caught a good size largemouth bass. Since then, I have caught 2 19-inch good fish for northern strain bass. I have caught so many bass on this one bait I bought 2 more bags. When I caught a 22" 6.18-pound bass of a lifetime, here in Michigan I knew I had to do this review. I say bass of a lifetime because I have been fishing Michigan lakes for over 70 years and this is the biggest largemouth bass I have ever caught or seen caught. Amazing Bait.

They work but not catching what I was expecting.
I've only used this worm a couple times and caught a small bass and this catfish, the cat smoked it to which struck me as funny. I'll keep using it just to see what else I can catch.

Excellent worm
Fished this BLACK trick worm just as I saw on a YouTube video and it did not let me down. This worm was a bass catching machine. I also tried the punk trick worm, but on this same day the bass did not want much to do with pink. Although I have had days when I caught a a few on the pink version.

Bass love these
Based on the advice of a pro bass fisherman using a 3ot offset hook the rig makes these trick worms work awesomely. Best to use right after spawn.

My go to( pink )
Works great (pink) where I fish for bass and I tried over 10 other colours and types but I always end up using these most of the time bought these a couple of times now cause everybody that goes with me asks me for some after seeing me catch 2 to 3 pound large mouth bass,1 to 2 pound small mouth bass a couple of times and them not catching any till I give them some of these. The biggest I caught with these was a 6lb large mouth bass if you were curious.

Best soft plastic worm ever
My all time favourite soft plastic worms! Highly recommended. I have got over 200 bass on this lure Texas rigged in one summer! The red watermelon is the best color in my opinion.
