Overall, I like this product. It's the third one I've bought, so I knew exactly what I was getting into. So, it could be a 5-star item or a 2-star item depending on what you look for in a spice rack. The good: - Looks fantastic. I mounted multiple racks vertically and I get compliments almost every time someone new sees them. I haven't found another spice rack that gives the right look for a reasonable price. - The magnets and base are strong and sturdy - The design is good. The window allows you to see a level, but only if you turn the window outward. It's nice to have a choice. - The mounting procedure is good. The bad: - The mounting hardware is poor. You can do it, but one of the 4 drywall screws (2 racks x 2 screws) came out with the molly attached. I upgraded to a better molly and had no further problems. - The containers are very cheaply made. Though it doesn't show from a distance or really affect usability, the threads are off, the open/close mechanisms are loose on about 25%, the open/lose labels are poorly painted, and the rubber rings that space the containers from the hub are loose on about 25% and may fall out. - The labels look terrible. I solved this by leaving them off and putting up a diagram of spice locations in a nearby cupboard. - One of the open/close mechanisms broke off, but that was about 90% my fault for forcing it rather than rinsing out the hardened spice. Be warned: garlic powder can get sticky and gum up the containers.

Good looks aren't everything
Unable to find affordable spice racks that would fit the end of a standard kitchen cabinet (12" deep), these looked like a real solution. At best, they're so-so. Yes, they look great, especially with stainless appliances. However, installation is problematic. The mounting template is accurate for drilling holes, but the holes in the mounting bracket for screw heads are too large for #6 pan head screws, too small for #10s, and a fraction too small for #8s. I had to ream out the mounting holes just a teeny bit to get #8 screw heads to fit through the holes - a time-consuming annoyance. Be very careful how you use the mounting bracket template. The spice racks don't end up centered on the mounting plate when they're installed, so measure at least twice - three times would be better - to make sure they'll fit once in place. The rack won't look good if it's not level (or plumb, if you're mounting it vertically), and that's difficult to do with this kind of mounting arrangement. Screw placement must be exact. It's easy to get the canister lid cross-threaded, and another reviewer has already commented, accurately, that there's little difference in application between the "pour" and "sift" settings. It's better to shake the seasoning into your hand, then sprinkle it from your hand. The included self-stick labels do not, in fact, stick very well to the canisters., and if they don't stick, they're worthless. Without labels, you can't really identify what's in the canister. I bought 4 of the 6-canister racks. They DID free up some cabinet space, and it's convenient to be able to stick canisters to the `fridge or range hood when I'm cooking, but I would not buy this product again.

Cannot stick to refrigerator, wall mount only. Stronger glue on labels and some blanks, too
From description I thought the shelves were magnetic and could be used on the refrigerator. Also, label glue is weak. I had to use scotch tape to so they would not fall off. Could have used some blank labels, too. I had to make two myself. Takes away from the lovely look of the entire set.

Plastic aside, I think these look and work great!
Nowhere near as bad as some of the reviews made it seem - most spices flow with no problems. Would've been awesome if they were metal, but the plastic isn't bad. There's an inner clear cup, and the outer colored sheath and cap. Yeah, you'll have to unscrew the cap to grab the occasional bay leaf, but I don't see that as a big deal. Could've used a little less threading on the caps, but I haven't had a lot of stuff getting stuck in them. I keep my cups up on the stove top console, and I haven't had any issues with excessive moisture so far either. Just keep the slits on the cap closed and the cups away from the steam of your cooking, and you're good to go.

Looks pretty but..
Seems ok so far. It looks pretty for sure, but not so sure how functional it will be. The spices come out the side of the containers which I don’t think I will like. I feel like they should come out the top/bottom.

Not big big enough
I really wanted this to work for me but I think I’d prefer if this came with a self stick double side tape than mounting feature. My biggest complaint is that the canisters aren’t big enough to hold an average 3 oz bottle of seasonings. The whole point is to clear up space out of the cabinet but I cant do that if a quarter of the seasonings is still in the original bottle. This could work for someone but not for me.
