No more "rag in a box"
I got tired of the expense of the small blue towel rolls or the blue "rag in a box". Bought a roll of these and the wall mount and yes, they will last me a long time, and that is EXACTLY what I wanted. Cost wise, they are considerably better than the smaller options from the local auto parts mobsters and I can use them in my auto and wood shops because of their durablity. I just toss the greasy ones instead of using cotton shop rags (that won't absorb water or coolant because they are so permanently soaked with oils). Already bought a couple backup rolls and a wall mount for the wood shop space.

Good quality shop towels
These shop towels were purchased for the first time to replace another brand's role that I'd used up. Although they're not really thick, they have adequate absorbency, and hold up well- they're fairly strong. Also, although they're not intended for nor are they perforated to be used as half sheets, they can be fairly easily torn into partial sheets when you only need a small section. Well they're not inexpensive, I feel they do represent a pretty good value, as they work well and the role should last a fairly long time.

Perfect weight disposable shop towel
This is the perfect weight shop towel. Just like the small rolls of blue towels at the auto parts store. I use them for cleaning off the metal work bench with 409 and general maintenance on my vehicles, brakes, oil changes, trans fluid, rear diff changes, etc. I use them and throw them away. I'm not looking for a washable or re-usable towel, just a good strong disposable towel that will handle brake and parts cleaner and other cleaners. This fits the bill perfectly! And the roll is huge, huge, huge! I highly recommend them!

Ok shop towel. Not as good as competing product.
If you’re moving from a Scott product to this one the first thing you’ll notice is its fibrous, more abrasive, less absorbent, and similar to a wipes used in a lab setting. For home users these are most similar to the pads in a alcohol or lens wipe. That doesn’t mean this product leaves less fibers behind. It needs a certain amount of liquid to work properly. When saturated with liquid it cleans up well and leaves no fibers behind. This can be a tough balance since its less absorbent and can leave behind a significant amount of residue. I primarily use this for cleaning up adhesives and resins and its significantly worse than the Scott product. It takes more sheets and leaves the surface sticky even when the towel and surface is soaked in solvent.

Best Disposable Shop Towel Ever
I purchased the roll after being given a box of Wypall towels. I also bought the roll dispenser. The roll is large and somewhat heavy, but I was able to mount it about my work bench using the provided screws. Be careful to space the arms sufficiently far apart to accommodate the towel roll. The Wypall towels are great for all purpose use in my mechanic shop. They are more durable than ordinary shop towels, and the big roll rarely needs changing. Because they are so tough and absorbent, I generally use them at least twice, always on progressively dirtier jobs, starting with mild cleaning and finishing up with oil or grease wipe up. I'll certainly buy this product again in the future. And I have boxes located around the shop for remote use. This is a 5 star product in my view. Certainly a case of getting what you pay for!

The perfect towel
These towels are a perfect. Not for soaking up messes, not absorbent like bounty, but far more durable. For hard wiping and cleaning, these hold up great and last. Their much tougher than paper regular towels. Used for auto paint prep, held up fine with lacquer thinner. These are low lint but do not mistake these as being lint free. I purchased a large roll for use with the Floor stand they sell. Can easily pickup to relocate the stand to where you're working. Price is great when purchased as big roll.

They work just as good as the rags in a box which I would ...
Just bought these to replace the Scott rags in a box at my machine shop. They work just as good as the rags in a box which I would still buy if they didn't increase in price. They used to be $8 a box, now they are $11.15. Here is the math. These are 1,263 sq ft. and at $53.04= $.042 per sq ft. Compared to rags in a box which is 166.6 sq ft at $11.15 per box of 200 rags= $.067 per sq ft. It might not seem like much. But you save about $31 if you would buy the same sq ft of rags in a box. Only Con i have is I can't place these at each workstation like I did with box of rags. But I will be buying a second or third to place around the shop to make it convenient. Also, I bought the roll dispenser thing for $11 which makes it very easy to tear them off as they are perforated

Good quality and value
I new this was going to be a large roll ... but this is HUGE. We use them for glass cleaning primarily in my used car lot detailing dept. They hold up great. Very pleased!
