Great Potential
So I originally bought this for my gf as well as a Fitbit Charge HR and had her pick what she liked better. She chose the fitbit of course (cause what woman doesn't like to get excited about how many steps she takes in a day?). Now I really love the idea of this product and tried it myself before returning, but it's just not what I thought it was. There is no freedom in the app with changing or setting up your own workouts. No weightlifting option except for a 7 minute video which I don't care to use. It's sad cause I really love that I can track my workouts in the pool and on the road (biking/jogging) but considering my main workouts are compromised of lifting weights; this Moov just falls very short. If you're really into weight training I suggest looking into an Atlas, Beast Sensor, or PUSh Strength as an alternative. However if you're really into your cardio like swimming and running as well as not too obsessive about programming your own workouts, then the Moov isn't a bad choice for the value. Great recommendation for starters trying to get into the gym and maybe one day I will come back and revisit the Moov if it opens up more possibilities and options, but as for right now the Moov is just not ready for me.

Review of Moov Support.
Disclaimer: this review is about Moov's product support and not about the product itself. I was very excited to try my Moov Now. Unfortunately when it arrived I had serious problems with the firmware update. Initially I thought it was my POS phone so I replaced it (which I had planned on doing anyways). And when I tried again with the new phone it simply was no longer working. I tried everything on their FAQ page and knowledge base. Everything!! But the troubleshooting on the website is very face value for the average consumer that wouldn't know which end of a screwdriver to hold of you told them it was an eScredriver. So I submitted a support ticket. An incredibly detailed ticket describing every troubleshooting process I went through. I waited... And I waited... And I continued to wait. After about a week I messaged them again thinking my email fell through the cracks. A few days after that (a week and a half total) they finally responded! Hallelujah! Except I didn't get the help I was hoping for... I got someone happily regurgitating the exact same information on their FAQ page. It's like there was no effort made to read through my long and descriptive email to help. At this point I gave up. My thoughts are this: this product could potentially be awesome. I love the features. I love the price point. I wish it could monitor heart rate, but none of that matters if I cannot get decent support when experiencing an issue with the device. Especially with so many viable competitors out there. I'll be returning this and trying a different brand.

Lost it while shopping
After seeing this in a Dr. Oz magazine and researching the different fitness trackers out at the time I decided this was the one for me. So I asked for it as a gift for Mother's Day back in April of this year (2016). I was worried after reading some of the other reviews about the clasp, but I decided to give it try anyway. I loved it. It helped me stay motivated, I loved the 7 min workout. I liked how it tracked my sleep and activity. But I guess the clasp failed me while shopping one day last week and I lost it. I'm so disappointed. It lasted May - Aug with a few issues with the band and clasp. I wasn't to worried about it, until I realized it was gone..... Looks like they've redesigned the band and clasp and lowered the price now. Wish I would have waited to buy it. If the new band and clasp is really a better design, I would totally give five stars.

Pretty good activity coach!!!
This is a great activity tracker and virtual exercise coach with an awesome and helpful app to monitor and coach your workouts. Pros: -Personal and customized visual and audio coaching via the Moov app -comfortable and light to wear around wrist -easy to set up and use with included instructional manual -sweat, dirt, and waterproof. Great for hiking and swimming -battery lasts 6 months, so no need for charging everyday -senses your moves in 3D and also analyzes it (great for swimming and boxing) -programmed specialized for each sport Cons: -no vibrate for alerts or alarm Overall, this is a great activity tracker and coach monitor if you exercise a lot. By showing your progress, giving personalized advice, and analyzing your moves in 3D, Moov Now provides important information for you to enhance your workout and exercise. *This product was provided by the manufacturer at a discount in exchange for this honest and unbiased review

Love Hate relationship....
I love what the Moov Now does...I am now going to have to order another one because this is the second one that I have had pop out of the holder and lost. Ugggghhh. I have one to use, but my favorite thing about this device is the boxing workout and you need two! When I got the second one I added a rubber band to the back to help hold it in, but that snapped. I really want to LOVE this and do, except I will now have spend A LOT of money not just to replace one time, but now twice. =o(

Unobtrusive, there when you need it.
I love this. I previously had a UP24 and I like this so much better. You don't have to take it off to shower or swim, and you don't have to tell it when you are going to sleep. It's much lighter than I expected. I wear it on my ankle because I discovered that my arms were more active than the rest of my body and didn't really give an accurate reading of my activity. The walking and running programs are awesome. I tend to slow down and this reminds you to keep your pace up. I haven't tried the biking mode yet, but I can't wait to. The swimming mode is surprisingly accurate. The only thing it misses is when you are just kicking. It would be nice to be able to add that in. Overall, great purchase!

I love this fitness band
I have a couple of fitness bands/smartwatches but needed something that I could wear on the volleyball court. This is perfect, as I can wear it on my ankle. I use a single blue tooth earbud when I am cycling and the vocal prompts are just what I need for a little "inspiration" when I start to lag

Suspect this will actually improve my running style
The main complaint people make about this device is the strap coming loose. Having played with it I think it is very easy not to have the device placed in the strap correctly and for the clasp to not be shut perfectly. If a bit of extra time is taken it is secure, but it would be very easy to get it wrong. I wouldn't want to be taking it on and off all the time, which means it is disappointing that it needs moving between wrist and ankle. On the good side of this I am quite big, although not much fat, and can use the smaller strap on my ankle. It is on the penultimate setting, but atleast I won't need to change strap. In terms of running efficiency I was a bit disappointed to find it only seems to have cadence drills, although it does tell you about other things (eg impact) if you get it wrong. As regards the cadence drills it does give live instructions and there are multiple levels, which turns it into a game and I think will actually improve things. I have watch that has cadence, but it is a lot nicer having audio instructions, particularly if you zone out and think about other things. I am using it with bone conduction headphones. There is no indoor cycling in the main app, but you can use the separate app for the previous generation Moov. Interestingly if indoor cycling (in the other app) is your last activity the main app knows this and offers it in the main app (as do last activity). Given it works I wonder what they are adding that means it is taking so long (it has been promised for months and they are now saying late spring 2016). Similarly there has been promised further swimming data analysis (using two devices). That will be interesting, but no idea how long that will take. At present it doesn't add anything to what my watch does (it already gives stroke rate and counts lengths) There seems to be activity tracking and sleep tracking. I am not that into that side of things and suspect I won't be moving it to my wrist (more accurate) Edit: 1) I have now managed to recreate it falling out while asleep. To do this I kept it on my ankle and had it under 2 duvet. Whilst it may appear snug the problem appears to be if it rolls, as this causes the shape of the holder to change. 2) BT interference on treadmill run. I had noticed the app says to use wired headphones. I wonder if it suggests a problem with dual BT connections? OTOH have run outside fine with BT headphones. Not corrected by moving phone away from treadmill motor. As regards problem 1; I can very nearly use the ankle strap as a wrist strap. The wrist strap works fine in both. I suspect most people will be able to use one of the two only. For security I am going to use clear bathroom silicon to attach the pod to the only strap I need. This has the advantage that it can be removed easily, is flexible and won't change the appearance.

Good cheap activity tracker, fully waterproof & decent coaching help
Easy to use, comfortable to wear, tracks activity levels fairly well and coaching programs are decent. Definitely waterproof and battery still going strong over half a year later. Doesn't hold 30 days of normal tracking like it said it would (I get about 5-10 days tops if I forget to sync for a week or so) but otherwise been fine, I usually try to sync every 2-3 days max anyway. Not really had issues with the strap like some people seem to, got mine on a slightly loose setting so it doesn't restrict my wrist at all and it's only snapped off when I've caught it on something quite obviously or been changing long sleeved clothes that are close fitted and again snag against it, so not had any trouble finding/reattaching it (it doesn't even fall off my wrist in these cases, I just felt the clasp snap open) and for all that it's probably only 1/4 times I've snagged it that the clasp releases anyway.

Waterproof, comphy, swim, run, cycle, training, sleep, day active log. Blue tooth
Love the design, it's super light and compy to wear. I forget I'm wearing it most if the day. Great for swimming could be better with some of the work outs and voice but it's a great all round and great for the cost. I use it mostly for swimming, sleep and day active tracking. I think if it had a step counter it would make it a great all round devise. It has lots of options for different exercise and has a trainer too.
