Great for work but...

Luckily I bought these as work boots because while they are described as "hiking boots" they are way too heavy and stiff for that purpose. 4 stars for quality and fit but hiking any distance would be uncomfortable.

The best most comfortable hiking boots!

These are the best pair of boots I've ever owned. I did not buy these for hiking perse, I got these because I wanted an all around boot for any terrain because I have a prosthetic leg and wanted to be sure footed. I just can't get over how comfortable these are! I've owned work boots and other type of hiking boots and I always end up with back pain. I've worn these all day and on my feet in a working environment and my back never hurts or my calves. My feet are very comfortable and never give out. It feels like I have house shoes on they are so comfortable. I didn't get a chance to try them hunting yet but I'm sure I will not be disappointed. The price was right and the quality is outstanding. I've owned Wolverines before and they've always been comfortable but these go beyond that and more. They are lightweight so my feet don't feel like they are ever heavy and never any back pain!

Just right for trekin' the hard streets of any country.

Been waiting to get another pair of these for over a year now. Finally got them ordered and at a price 15% below what they were last year. My last pair lasted nearly 12 years, including two trips to Mediterranean Europe, (curtesy of the US Navy), and the year I waited. They're the most comfortable ankle boot I've ever worn, and I wear them almost every day, including hiking about the neighborhood and along various nearby hill and mountain trails. I hardly wear any other outdoor shoe. Only complaint I have is that they took so long to arrive after ordering - came across eight (8!) states taking nearly two weeks. I was glad they arrived still in the box and in new condition. (The box was slightly damaged, but who wears a box?) Update: Wow, what a price jump!! When I bought them they cost just $49 - now $92?! That's an increase of almost 89% in a few weeks. Talk about inflation!

Great pair of hiking boots

I received these pair of hiking boots in excellent condition. They were a little bit big for a size 11 1/2. This is not a problem for me as I can get Wolverine socks and it will fit just fine.

Overall great shoes. Worth every penny

Great, great shoes. Fit is perfect. Very comfortable. And great traction on ice and snow. Had zero problems with any slippery steps or missteps on the snow and ice. That to me proves that they are worth every penny. Worth buying if you need a sense of comfort of safety.

good fit,walke around first for some break in of leather

Am using these all around at moment to be spelled off by hi tec s that were my usual scramble staple.So far I find these getting more comfortable than ever after some break in,am scrambling with them so usually have to freesole the seams of somewhat cheaper boots for longevity ,haven t yet with these and possibly have a very good built pair,great pricing as I put boots thru hell on steep terrain, may spell these off with approach shoes however as very steep terrain is out of the scope of these boots,for walking hiking I feel these are awesome!

This is a great hiking shoe at an amazing price

This is a great hiking shoe at an amazing price. I picked it up for approx $50CAD I spent two weekends in very wet camping conditions and this held up beautifully. I do feel that the tongue is a bit on the short side and as such the laces slipped up from time to time

Great boots! Used for camping, snowshoeing, and camping! Feet stays warm and dry all day even in deep snow. The material is durable and great waterproofing thus far (2 months). Stylish, comfortable and also a great price!

Size runs large

I bought a size 11.5M for my bf who is size 11-11.5M, and it fit like a 12.5M. Had to return, but overall nice boots.
