Good value for an attractive, quality product that's almost perfect

This is very similar (possibly identical) to another stainless cracker sold on Amazon. One of the critical reviews of that product was that the opening is a bit small for a large claw and, due to the angle, the handles open a bit wide, making it hard to use by people with small hands. To complicate things, the handles are beautifully polished and smooth, which makes it harder to grip when you have wet (or buttery) hands. Some crackers have textured handles that offer a better grip, but they all seem to be of lower quality otherwise. But this is definitely a handsome solid stainless steel cracker - a couple of notches better than all of the others I've used or seen. And at the price, it's a really good value.

Nice but...

Nice, seems sturdy, but had trouble getting it around a large king crab claw. Ended up using an old fashion nut cracker. This works fine for smaller pieces.

Crazy for nuts!

Great product, but, somehow after a while they grow feet and run away. Hehehe. Awesome for nuts if you're crazy about them.

3 of the 4 fell apart the 1st time we used them. Not a well made product.

Worth it for the price.

So far so good. I like the stainless steel finish and strong enough to break Red rock crabs. That's why I bought it for. Haven't tried it on nuts yet.

Only used once, so far so good. Had Dungeness on new years Eve...nice high polished finish and cleans easily...Worked great... I recommend stainless steel over aluminum or other alloys... Should last for years...
