Unique combination of features for 3 on 3
Just received the ball and took it to the court to shoot and work out with it. Initial impression is that it's a little easier to shoot and handle creatively. Shooting: The ball is smaller and gives a little more margin of error through the hoop, as any size 6 ball does. But the shooter doesn't have to compensate for the lighter weight of a typical size 6 ball, which I usually chuck a little too hard and get bad bounces when I play with my kids. Easy to get back spin with all the wave texture. Handles: The grip is softer than most synth leather outdoor balls. The texture plays together with the smaller size but full weight to make the ball more sensitive and easier to direct off the dribble. I'm not a strong handler by any means but I was impressed how easy it was to get a little bit of swing out of the bounce and cross it over. It's a fun ball, it makes for a fast game. Search FIBA 3x3 videos if you haven't seen the game played by those rules, to see what I mean. I haven't had it long enough to rate durability. Consider the 4 stars a provisional rating. The ball itself does what I expected it to and has my full satisfaction.

Beautiful ball. I like its weight, I don't notice a difference with an official size 7 ball. His grip is fantastic. Its colors and design is very beautiful. I am 1.80m tall and my hands are normal size. I like to use this size 6 ball. If basketball players use size 7 and are 1,90-2,10 m tall, and have big hands, why should I be comfortable with the same size ball they use? 6 is fine for my hands.

arrived on time, haven't used it yet, but what a great idea for pick up games that perhaps have youngins, or maybe are co-ed. also most pick up games are played on dirty courts the best ball in the world will be slick when plastered with dirt slime and sweaty filth. hopefully the size and ridges will help everyone handle the ball better. im thinking it's going to sail in the passing game and promote a more offensive game. a la 10 min 3x3 games. .....updated. Now I've used it for a while. nice ball, a nice relatively soft ball but has nice bounce. this is a fun ball for it's unique characteristics. it's easy to pass fast, probably easier for weaker people to hit threes. and yes it alwas seems to have some grip even after dirty and even somewhat sweaty or otherwise moist. it is a different kind of ball and shoots a little differently, the ridges are very noticable but not that deep. i like it for playing coed pickup games. of course the dribble handling is better on a gg7x molten. but nobody gets better than the gg7 for handling. overall this ball does what it was made for and is real fun to play with. the durability has been gelatively good playing with it 1 a week for over a year. still handles good in good condition even after some abuse

Quality ball but a few things to know
I’ve played with almost every basketball out there and almost at every level. The 3x3 is designed for outdoor play but not necessarily for concrete/pavement. It’ll wear after a while but it holds up better than the regular Evolutions people love so much. The ball is 28.5” and official men’s weight, but it really doesn’t feel heavier like a men’s ball. It still feels like shooting a women’s ball. The ball is actually more aerodynamic outside though because of the channels, there’s less surface area for wind drag to catch the ball and influence shots/passes outside. If only there was a 29.5” version because they feel way different than the Wilson Wave did. Still a quality ball but depending on the age group at the park, people probably won’t want to run games with it.

Great outdoor ball with grip for kids
I have been looking for a durable outdoor ball for concrete play with my 12 year old son and his friends. I have went through a lot of so called "outdoor balls" that had slippery grip or wore out in a month or two. My sons basketball coach played over seas and recommended this ball. I has been awesome. Great grip and line depth for small hands and hold up to the punishment of cement better than any ball I have bought before. We just bought this 2nd ball for my sons friends b-day b/c we know he will be happy for awhile.

Official 3x3 Basketball
It is the official 3x3 basketball, which if you watch or know anything about they use a smaller sized basketball that is the same weight (or very similar) as a full size basketball. Its unique ridges and smaller size allow you to spin it and handle it with greater control. It's fun to use! The only con with the basketball is in order to achieve a similar weight as a full sized basketball, they had to add some extra "meat" onto it, which impacts the bounce slightly.

Love this ball!
I play 3x3 women's basketball for the Senior Olympics and want to improve my ballhandling skills and shooting. The extra weight of the ball gives me better control and the additional ridging improved my grip on the ball. I highly recommend using this if you are a serious 3x3er!

Great grip for small hands
Bought the official one, not replica. Have not used it yet but quality is good. No issue with seams etc. Surface feels quite good. Will see if it last if used outdoor. I am 5”4’ and have small hands. Size 6 is good. Triple thread is great for grip. It weighs 598g in case you are curios. Weight is same as size 7. Good for adults and youth.
