Blade mounting nuances

I did a quick comparison of the former arms for my ceiling fan against these which I got and mounted today. Some of my old ones had bent. The seller that i got the fan from had left it resting outside on two of the blade arms. It was noticable when the fan was turned on. Anyways, these new ones fit perfectly but there are some nuances that I think deserve attention: 1: The blade mounting holes go all the way through (as shown in product images) but the hardware used to mount said blades is all one length. Two of the three bolts will stick out (I don't care much, and I couldn't find a replacement set that didn't have the bolts go all the way through the arms.) 2: Hard to articulate but shown in my images. The original arm is the one on top in both of the first two pictures. You can see that there are sleeves to center the blades on the arms. This replacement lacked that feature, and the blades will loosen over time and relocate as a result. This will throw the fan off-balance eventually, requiring me to take 'em off and re-tighten them. I'm not aware of a replacement product, especially one so reasonable, that addresses these faults, so it's a tough-cookies situation to my knowledge. I just figured you folks should know incase you find another option that does address this stuff *or* the manufacturer sees fit to address this stuff. All that said, these are a suitable replacement at a reasonable price, and I was fairly careful in centering the blades properly when I did my little install, so I'm happy. If the centering sleeves get added down the line, 5 stars. 08/22/2021

Why didn’t i find these sooner????

At my in-laws lake house they had a 4 blades fan with only 3 blades. Somehow the blade and half the cast bracket had broken off. The fan drove me crazy because it was out of balance and sort of warbled. I never knew this type of product existed until i happen to walk through the fan section of a big box store with the intention of replacing the fan. Once i saw the product, i found it on amazon and ordered. I wasted a couple of years trying to find matching parts online, rather than just replacing all four blades which now seems like such common sense. As they say, live and learn. This product was fantastic, apparently there is a standard for fan brackets because these were spot on. The only issue i had is that whomever assembled the bad the first time had cross threaded one of the screws which made the replacement several times more difficult than need be, but i still got it done. These brackets seem solid and the casting appears to be good quality. I picked up some fan blades at amazon that i didn’t realize actually had cherry veneers on one side and walnut on the other...truly making it everything a no brainer. My only advice is to use a step stool. Being fairly tall i worked off the ground and by the time i had gotten done my knock and shoulders were East than happy. I would also advise to not use a power tool and when you install the brackets screw both attachment screws in half way, make sure the angle and position of the blade is how you want it, and then tighten the screws almost all the way. When i got done i ran the fan and heard and saw no distortions so I turned it off and completely tightened the screws. Absolutely pleased with the quality and appearance of this product.

I wanted cheaper bronze but this last longer!

The media could not be loaded. Had someone help me install this on a 30-40 yr old fan. Ended up buying new mounting screws the old ones looked fine but for my own piece of mind. I wanted the cheaper yellow ones but maybe its not a good idea since my mom broke it. While getting help the dude that was helping me broke the light chain for the fixture. I did not get mad because someone else would of the screws are rusted and the chain is old. Otherwise it is a perfect fit replacement, and no I did not want to waste a day fixing a light fixture but here I am I initially mistakenly ordered the 42 inch ones but got this 52 inch ones the next day after I returned it.

These actually didn't fit in my fan!

I actually had to drill new holes to make these fit my fan blades. Everything is fine now and they work perfectly. Just be aware that you may have to make some adjustments to make them fit your fan.

Estupendo, funciona como se espera

Por la diferencia con el sistema métrico, cometí un error de cálculo y pedi las de 42" , eran demasiado pequeñas. Aceptaron la devolución de inmediato. Entonces pedí que me enviaran las de 52". Resultado perfecto, mi ventilador vuelve a funcionar como un avión. Buen producto y buen servicio.
