Works and Very Easy To Use!

Very easy to use! I managed to fix a clicking fan that was in our bedroom all by myself without any knowledge of how to do it before reading the directions. I had asked my husband if he could do it for a year an a half...and finally one night I ordered this thing for a few dollars and in two days it arrived to my door. Simple directions. Basically systematical trial and error until you figure out where to put the weight on the blade to stop the clicking! In just two tries of locations, I'd say I fixed the fan to about 99% satisfaction. :) With a little more trial and error I could get it perfectly silent.

The kit may not look as nice as the others but given the fact you don't ...

I'm a bargain shopper so naturally I went for the cheapest option figuring how different could fan blade balancing kits really be. According to my husband, they can be very different. He thought for sure this kit would be worthless and I figured I'd just deal with it when the time came to install it. Lo and behold, my bargain shopping paid off. The kit may not look as nice as the others but given the fact you don't see any of the pieces once installed, who cares? We now have 2 functioning fans that don't appear like they are going to come flying off of the ceiling in an attempt to decapitate someone.

Moved my fan to another room and it seems like I ended up bending one of the fan blades. Couldn’t see which blade was damaged to the naked eye. I used science to fix the issue. Bought l this kit to stop the wobble. Worked for me.

Fan Blade Balancing Kit works

I used this kit to re-balance a ceiling fan that somehow lost its balance. It takes quite a bit of trial and error, trying to find the spot to place the weights, but this kit and with some patience works well.

Inexpensive And Easy To Use

This is an inexpensive and easy way to solve most fan balancing issues. For the price, you can't go wrong. I do suggest that before you purchase this, verify the cause of the balancing is not caused by missing washers under the head of fan mounting screws. Missing hardware can cause the fan blades to wobble and if missing those cardboard-looking washers under the head of the mounting screws can cause the fan to create lots of noise.

Be prepared before u order

Honestly，the clip is suck! It breaks at the very beginning due to the unflexiable material. Fortunately, I know the tricks - test the blade with the weight pad one by one, and finally got the thing done. Not recommand the first time user to buy, unless your fans blades fit the clip(I believe most of the fan blades don't). Price is the only reason I order when I read the negative reviews from others.

Works alright. It took me around 30-45 minutes to get my fan to "balance out" as much as I could. Maybe it was my fan that was just no good anymore. It really has helped the shaking go down a lot (but it still shakes).

Worked but...

Very tight clip scratched the painted of my white fan blade. Recommend using electrical tape as a shield between the blade and the clip. Other than that... it solved our clicking fan issue.

Not worth it

I used the clip provided to pre-balance the fan and it broke apart instantly while putting onto the fan blade. With that being broken, I had use a couple of elastics to keep the weights on the fan while I looked for the spot that needed to be balanced. In doing so, the weight flew off the fan and almost hit my 5 year old in the face. I had no other options besides returning the kit and waiting for a new one to arrive. This was not feasible because we are getting ready to sell our house and this needed to be done ASAP. So I made do with what I had. Not happy about this product at all. Spend the extra money and get something that will make you happy and will not fail.

Awesome Product

The media could not be loaded. OMG! I never thought I would be able to but my ceiling fan on high without having to dish out tons of money for an electrician. I bought these in hopes that it would help. The are AMAZING. Great product and highly recommended.

I really liked this product! Easy to use and most importantly, my fan doesn't wobble anymore.
