Perfectly at place with vintage-style, British clubby decor.

The media could not be loaded. This is a fantastic light sconce that has great, vintage vibes ... imagine a British-style pub or 1920's dark wood gentleman's club or lounge. We are re-doing our guest bathroom to have a turn of the century Kentucky Derby vibe. We have navy blue paint for the walls ... gold framed horse paintings ... and white subway tile backsplash. This fixture is absolutely perfect style-wise for the look we were hoping to create. Perhaps the best feature of this light is that the domes, which shield the bulbs, are able to be repositioned ... you can have them shine straight down or at an angle. This is especially helpful when it comes to using it as a bathroom light. When applying makeup, often overhead sconces are hard to use because the lights shine down over the wall vs. out to illuminate a person. By allowing the domes to be angled, it makes it easier to apply or touch up makeup. The only thing I would change about this fixture is that the white underside of the domes might look better if they were painted gold to match the center area. The white does help better reflect the light bulb outward ... but looks a tad cheap. The light itself is bright enough for a smaller bathroom or powder room but in larger, or even medium-sized, rooms, you will need anothervsource of light. The aged brass on here looks good but keep in mind that matching the color perfectly with brass or golf faucets/fixtures might be difficult. It is probably smarter to go with a dark oil-rubbed bronze or black faucet to match the dome vs. trying to find the same shade of aged brass. Installation is fairly straight forward and I did not run into the issue of the wires being too short. The fixture itself is surprisingly lightweight. This makes it easier to hang but you want to make sure to put it in a low traffic area because the metal could dent easily. Overall, the price of this is an absolute bargain given the style and the name brand quality. This same style fixture would be 3 - 5 times as expensive at a Restoration Hardware or Pottery Barn. I highly recommend this fixture for the price and hope my video, photos and honest review help you make an informed shopping decision.

Chic moody lighting fixture; using it in a '20s themed bathroom. Harder to install than expected

Harder to install than it needed to be. The two lamps could have been wired together but they weren't, and the exposed wire was too short. That's what my husband has to say about it. He thought it was not new, but I did unspool the wires before I handed it to him to (what I thought) make it easy for him. However, he got it up into the space in my '20s themed bathroom, and I love it. Goes great with my matte black BR faucet set, and with my orange posters and black-rimmed BR mirror. It's definitely moody with the Edison bulbs that I've put into it, too. Love the look. Very chic to my eyes, yet retro at the same time. We had gold stick lamp up there previously, and it was a bit much. I feel like I'm in a noir movie when I walk into the bathroom now. Cool and love it. Just need brighter bulbs now that half the light is coming out, since the caps on the lights make everything focus down and not all around the room. Still, A+ from me. I think it was new because of the spooled wires that I straightened, even if spouse disagrees. He's not an electrician, but he has installed many lights from Amazon for me, so he knows a bit about it.

Handsome fixture, nothing extraordinary

It does an acceptable job of lighting up a half bath in my house, and being able to aim the cans is useful for optimally illuminating the space. The construction is exactly what you're used to by now if you've installed almost any light fixture made in the last 30+ years. If you like the way it looks in the picture, you'll be pleased with what you receive. If every time you look at it you're bothered that it reminds you of Mickey Mouse ears, get something else.

Pretty - looks heavy but is light and easy to install

This is a great light fixture - I would love for the arms to be moveable but it works well as it is also! The design is gorgeous and fits my basement remodel perfectly

Great replacement for my bathroom

replaced the other light I purchased from here with this one as the other wasn't bright enough This one I think will work great and seems like it will be bright enough for everyday use. Black matte finish with gold accents look great with the decor and I like how unique the light is.

Bathroom light

I purchased this to go over our sink in our bathroom we are installing downstairs. The light feels very sturdy and like it will make a great addition to our modern western bathroom theme we are going with. The black is a beautiful matte color and the gold is not super shiny and gives a great contrast.

So good looking

I am in the beginning stages of remodeling a home office and this light fixture really caught my eye. It has a substantial feel. The brass and black has an old school, masculine look, not shiny. Perfect for a hall bathroom, or maybe over a console
