Great price, energy efficient, extremely bright (maybe a little too bright)
They ship fast, are very inexpensive, and look good. I had a contractor install them during a renovation and they replaced 8 75W cans in the kitchen and living room, and they put one in each bathroom. They do have selectable color temperature; originally they were set on the colder side and the apartment looked like a dentist's office or morgue. At 2700K they look normal, if bright. I will say that our electric bill has gone down by $50 a month (~25%) and I think the primary reason is these lights; we replaced other appliances but they weren't that old. Oh, and because of course this would happen, the pipe carrying our upstairs neighbor's used bath/shower water broke about 6 weeks after we finished our renovation. I bring it up because the water came down through the hole where the "bulb" part was mounted, and it became discolored and when you turned it on it would do a strobe-light kind of thing. We bought a new unit to replace it but only the bulb needed replacing. To me this is a plus. We probably would have shorted out our entire electrical system if we had a can light there. I took a star off because even at the lowest level of dim (using Kasa Smart Dimmers) they are still extremely bright at the lowest level of dimming. You may wish to experiment with other dimmers if you get these if you actually want a romantic dimmed light experience where you install these. I really wish I had installed dimmers for the bathrooms because there is no hiding from any flaw with these lights in those bathrooms.

This is not a 5" light, it is a 6" light.
Ceiling lights are measured by the size of the hole for the fixture to fit in the ceiling. This light requires a 6" hole. The people who say this is a 5" light are simply wrong and do not understand the size conventions. It's not the size of the lens, it's the size of the mounting hole! This is a problem for people who are replacing a 5" light because the existing hole in their ceiling is 5" and this light will not fit. You must enlarge the hole to 6". That might be difficult or impossible for some people. Therefore the seller claiming this is a 5" light is not ethical, it's deceptive and will cause some people the aggravation of having to return the light or enlarge the ceiling hole. I did not install the light yet but I did have to climb up in the attic to remove the existing light housing so I could enlarge the hole to 6". That took a couple of hours because I had to remove a lot of insulation to get to the fixture, pry the nails holding the old can in place, enlarge the hole with a coarse file and clean up the major mess. Lots of insulation fell thru the hole into our house and into the bathroom where the ladder entry to the attic is located. I bought this light specifically because it was claimed to be a 5" light so I did not have to climb in the attic, remove the old fixture, rewire the new light, enlarge the hole and clean up the mess. Hopefully the light will work fine when I finally get done tomorrow. Edit: Installed new light today. Works perfect, install was easy after I resized the ceiling hole to 6". To me the light is too bright but it is a nice even light. I set the color temp to 2700K which is fine. We do not like high K lights, they are too white in color, hurt our eyes and distort and wash out all the colors in the house....floors, furniture, etc.

Matches 5 inch trims
It's basically impossible to find a 5" puck light, but I had a situation where I needed to match two 5" cans and there were framing and pipes preventing me from placing a traditional can where I wanted. I was skeptical about this item, as some sources say 5" and others say 6". The confusion stems from the fact that the outer diameter (and the cutout) of this light is 6". However, the ring matches the finished thickness of my other 5" trims, all of which extend out of the 5" cans enough to have close to a 6" outer diameter. The light itself has a pleasant tone and the color temperature is adjustable. I don't have it on a dimmer, so I can't evaluate the dimming performance. Overall I'm satisfied.

Poor reviews unfairly rate this excellent, easy to install product
This light fixture is not meant to be used as a retro fit light. If you are buying this light to fit into an existing hole used for older "can" style fixture, you will need to enlarge the opening in the drywall. It is indeed a 5" light. The actual lens size is 4 3/4". Add the width of the permanently connected beauty ring and it comes to 6 5/16". The back of the fixture will need a 6" hole to fit into the drywall. Older style fixtures needed a 5" hole. My wife and I really love these lights. We have a smaller kitchen and did not like the look of the larger 6" light. One of the best features of the lights is they can be set at 2700k. It's hard to find the warmer color in this type of LED light. I installed 4 lights in a 10x10 area with a dimmer. Easy to install. Highly recommended.

This is a 6” light, not a 5” light
I purchased this light (model 52050) to replace an existing 5” light. The item description and box label indicate it is a 5” light. The problem is that the required hole diameter is actually 6”. I was able to enlarge the existing hole to make it work, but I was left with a mess to clean up and I now have to touch up the ceiling where the paint chipped away while enlarging the hole. The light works fine and the light temperature adjustment is a nice feature.
