It is bright but not a white light, it’s yellow as a submarine. The led bulb will outlast my fridge so it’s got that going for it and well we’re not super picky about how the inside of our fridge looks. We just want to see the food. So if your one of those uptight people that have to have a bright white light with white carpet, furniture, and dog this bulb isn’t for you. But if your like us and want to see the milk and other various junk food at 3 am and don’t mind the old fashion blinding yellow spotlight it’ll do, and save you a bit in the process.

Ok, but doesn’t fit all medium base sockets
This bulb works, but it doesn’t fit in my refrigerator. The socket is the right size, a bit too deep, so the plastic ridge just past the metal prevents it from screwing all the way in.

instant on and very bright, a little too white for my liking
Not a fan of the white light, but these are in the basement and they are nice and bright. Much better than the incandescent bulbs and CFL’s they replaced. I am happier knowing the bulbs should light the way for my aging folks now. Just prefer a more yellow hue in my living areas.

I hate it, and it's my fault.
I just needed to write a note here for the hate I have for this bulb-- which could have been avoided-- the light produced by this bulb is SO YELLOW - 2700 Kelvin -- in my own mind I was thinking wow this bulb must be around 3500 or maybe even 3000 Kelvin but even worse! This is a plastic bulb and LED so you can't put it in a hot oven-- the only place I would imagine you would want such a "warm looking" bulb -- I'm using it in a refrigerator so everything looks like it's bathed in bug light yellow. I hate it. I haven't decided if I will return it or not, but I will definitely be replacing it. Beware of the 2700K.

It Lights Up!
Replaced incandescent bulbs in a refrigerator with these and they work perfect. Extra perk is they don't get crazy hot like the old ones when stocking the fridge for a few minutes. Guess that'll add to the fridge's efficiency!

Works great in the fridge. No noise.
Works perfect in the fridge. Doesnt make a humming noise. and for anybody wondering they only make a humming noise when you use a dimmer with them that's not actually compatible with a LED light bulb.

It does the trick - no complaints and I obsess a bit about light bulbs.
It lights of my fridge, it is LED so it uses less power. It matches the incandescent light on the other side of the fridge. It is not an annoying "blue tinted bulb like some LEDs. This is just a normal bulb, that should outlast my fridge. The penguins in the fridge seem to like it.

Replacement bulb fit great
We needed to replace the light bulb in our range hood & read that LED work the best. We bought the Westinghouse Lighting 4513600 60-Watt Equivalent A15 Soft White LED Light Bulb with Medium Base - it fit great and was very easy to install.
